  1. No same belt, but I have the new style "adjustable" tensioner that may be tightened a tad...??
  2. This worked like a charm...came right off! The truck is A LOT more fun now too:D Only thing is now the damn belt is sqeaking like crazy......???
  3. If you change the crank pulley it will have to be larger, not smaller to make more boost. BTW: I am only making 4-5lbs with the 3.3 and have a 212 218 .522 .529 114 cam
  4. appreciate all the input guys...I guess I am just going to try and muscle it a little more. I like the "old belt" and channel lock idea. My pride is a little hurt as bench pressing 400+ lbs is no problem, but I can't get a damn 18 mm nut off a shaft
  5. I haven't gotten to that point yet : ) I can't get the nut loose.
  6. Can't get Radix Pulley off! (the bolt unloosened) Just recently installed the blower and have gotten used to the 3.3, so I got a 2.9. Three different people and myself have tried to get this off, but we cannot keep the pulley from spinning using the belt wrench. Keep in mind that one of these people has a lot of experience taking these things on and off...he is scratching his head too. I am starting to think that little white paint mark they put on the bolt got some gorilla glue mixed in with it. Anybody ever ran into this?
  7. No its a regular silverado 4x4 with an lq4 transplant.....I think most of his success is from tuning...I dont thinkit could be tuned any better...he is a genious! And does all the work himself...very intellegent. He even painted his door handles and tailgate cap they look like a proffesional did it. Just installed the Radix last week : ) On the 2500...you know these shops they don't know much....I had an argument for 45 minutes that my truck had a 4165 and not 60e.....he said "there aint no such tthang as a 65 and really its a 700r4 just got that new electronic sh** on therr" I am from a very small hick town in Kentucky...these guys didn't even where shoes LOL And I am sure some of you have heard this :"whats taht thang got? A 350?" Me = No its a 364.....Them"hell they dont make 364s".....you get hte poiint...LOL
  9. also kinda off subject, but a good friend of mine who is pushing 10lbs, meth and 50 shot is pulling 1.60s and ran a 11.74 @114 with stock converter...his theory is that with nitrous 10 lbs and meth the converter doesn't matter...?? He pulled 1.60s with the 2600 stall which he claimed stalled to 3000 but witout nitrous....something to think about

  11. I just recently installed a radix after owning my Sliv SS for 4 yrs...needless to say I LOVE IT!.....I blew the tranny last year and got a reman under warranty..supposedly out of a 2500. Well, the shop was cool and let me pay the difference and put all beefed up parts in it. Now that I have the Radix on it - it is stalling to 2600 rpm! Is this normal or did I luck up and get a tweaked stall?
  12. I never noticed a gain with my LTs, but then again I never felt a SOTP improvement of any mod except pcmforless tune and radix.
  13. It was the TB gasket. I know it was right the first time I put it on but I had to pull the TB back off at some point and put it back on wrong. Got to look at the truck again toady and started with a can of carb cleaner. Couple squirts around the TB and the idle went berserk. Put a finger to it and a big leak. Swapped the gasket around. Reset the fuel trims. Let it idle till it learned idle again and all was well. Fuel trims fell in line. Actually started pulling fuel then. Also got stock crank pulley on the truck now and I am VERY pleased with the 6lbs of performance! Thanks to all.

  15. yes forgot to mention the pcm is the magnachrger tune for 6lbs of boost....but do you think that underdrive is eating up4-5 lbs boost?

I just installed a radix that makes no boost hopefulley due to an underdrive pulley being on it.(will find out tommorow as I am getting a stockker installed) For some reason though I keeping getting a code saying that Bank 1 & 2 fuel trim too lean... I would think the truck is pig rich with a tune for 6lbs of boost(Magncharger tune) and the truck is only making 1...?? Any ideas...please share. thanks in advance BlackSSS
  17. I have a certain point a to point b spot on the highway that I gauge my mods and increased performance and the truck is about 3 mph slower than it was before the charger. I had a code pop up today(bank 1 fuel trim too lean) and the idle goes up and down rapidly. This leads me to believe that maybe one of the gaskets in between the heads and blower got snagged and did not seal...??

  20. Looking for a stock Crank Pulley for a Silverado 6.0 SS. Got the underdrive on and can't make any boost with recently installed SC. Thanks
  21. Finished up the blower install today and can't tell that its on there It can't be making 1-2 lbs of boost...barely any whine at all. Need a stock Crankc pulley!
  22. I am almost done installing my radix kit. My buddy that is helping me with it said he thinks that the underdrive(smaller pulley) is going to hinder boost as opposed to the stocker. Anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks in advance!
  23. Mine held out til 60K (60K of oure hell I might add) and the day this happended it was cold out and I did not warm the truck up at all and hammered hard pulling out of the driveway....fluid was not evven pumping good yet.
  24. Yeah, but I am assuming 4:88s are harder to find?
