  1. Sorry for the delay guys the roll pans are made and will ship out next week. We had a bad storm and our building was flooded so we are just now getting things back to normal.
  2. I have to have the order in by June 30 to garantee these prices. I haven't recieved the new price sheets yet. You can contact me at 316-858-1197 if you want to place an order or ask any questions.
  3. If yours isn't molded it sure looks smooth, you can't even tell where they meet!can you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you look closely you can see the seams at the edges.
  4. Ok guys...here the prices: X-2000 with Stainless Steel hinges, electric light, carpet and electric locking (w key fob) Retail = $1287.90 GP price = $999 X-2000 Speedstur wing lid with Stainless Steel hinges, elctric light, carpet and electric locking (w key fob) = $1050 Retail = $1363.15 GP price = $1050 Traditional Spedstur wing lid with easy grip clamp on system. No light, carpet, electric lock or x-2000 hinges Retail = $1045.88 GP price = $865 All lids come painted to match your truck. None of these prices include shipping. The X-2000 comes with everything as part of the package. You can add any of the options of the X-2000 to the traditional lid for an additional charge. Shipping will be average about $130. It is better if you pay freight collect for two reasons. First it's a little cheaper, second it allows you to see the lid to make sure your box/lid isn't damaged. It's much easier to refuse the shipment anbd get a replacement rather than taking possession then resolving the problem. Shipping problems happen rarely but they do happen. I have all the lids I order come with a paremiter wood crate which solves most handling issues.
  5. That's true they don't have to be molded in-mine isn't. Most roll pans are prefitted then painted to match your truck. I think most guys are getting it done for around $150 or so. Then you can install it at home or have the body shop do it. If you mold it in .....NOW you're talkin some bucks. You have to fit and mold in the pan, paint the pan on the truck (more expensive) and repaint the rear lower body cladding.
  6. Thanks guys I have enough orders to get started now. It will probably take about 2 weeks for you to get your roll pan so be patient, it will be worth the wait. I will continue to take orders for this run through Wen. I will close this run then.
  7. Yes, a new mold ---exactly like the old mold ---you won't be able to tell the difference between roll pans from the old mold and the new mold. In fact 2 of the last batch came out of the new mold and you can't tell which is which except we had to do more clean up of the edges on the old mold pans. The reason for a new mold is purely on my end. The pans are becoming hard to pop out of the old mold and the edges are getting ragged which causes the roll pan to not release from the mold.
  8. The roll pan is exactly the same the new mold is just because the old one was wearing out. And I think the hitch question was answered nicely...thanks guys. I have fiberglass pan; the steel one is what we made the molds from. You can pm me or call me at 316-858-1197.
  9. I have 2 orders for roll pans at this time. I need a couple of more to start this batch. If you are interested they are $335 with shipping. I accept paypal and MC/Visa. You can contact me at 316-858-1197 if you have any questions. Bob
  10. Can you imagine the boxing and shipping costs on a one piece wrap around pan I costs about $30 to 35 to ship and $15 per box now. It may actully be cheaper to ship puffers 3 piece set since his can go in a shorter box my pan is considered over size because of it's length.
  11. Don't get so worked up guys It's a personal preferance thing. They both look better than the bumper. I will put a plug in for mine though...finishing and installation will cost less. And my price includes shipping. I think I will probably just make them less often now....no problem for me. In fact it should make things a bit easier on me since I'm a one guy operation on these. Puff seems like a nice guy he even emailed me to talk about it. So just enjoy upgrading your truck...choice is allways a good thing.
  12. Seems a fair price for a 3 piece set. And yes the set up and mold cost are rediculous. I didn't tell my wife how much it cost either. This gives everyone an option...choices are allways good. I will still make mine for those of you who want them. Mine is less expensive ($335 including shipping) but it is a one piece unit. I will only make them in batches though so it may take me longer to get them to you. Now if we could only combine the 2 for a wrap around one piece seamless pan... But talk about expensive
  13. Not bad at all. If he can sell a quality pan for less I'll stop making mine. The only reason I have been doing it is that you guys drive me nuts until I make another batch. Every time I say I'm not gonna make them anymore I get a lot of paniced messages...can you just make one more Maybe he can turn these out faster and cheaper. It's really not gonna bother me if someone else can step up to the plate and do the job. This was never about the money for me since I don't make much from them. I would like to know what the concensus is though. I was about to make a new mold because the old one is about worn out. I don't want to go to the time or expense if someone else can do the job. Thanks, Bob

    SS top speed?

128 and still accelerating when we shut down for lack of road. I know because I had Allen from Nelson Performance sitting shotgun with his computer monitoring the run. By the our speedometer won't go beyond 122.
