I'm making a new batch of roll pans and I have one person that will order 3 to get his made NOW. That gets me started on this batch; if you want one you will need to place your order ASAP. I will be starting on them this weekend. They are still $345 including shipping. I perfer PAYPAL but can take MC/VISA. Call me at 316-858-1197 if you have any questions. I thought I was done making them because I wasn't getting enough orders to make it worth my time and the original mold was wearing out and I didn't want to build a new one with so few orders coming in. Well when trying to fill the orders for this last batch I had to go ahead and build that new mold anyway because the pans that were coming out of the old mold were not good enough to meet my standards. I was trying to avoid making that new mold because of the time and expense involved; but it's done now so I may as well make a few more to recoup the cost of the mold. If anyone else wants one just start a new roll pan thread and when I get enough orders I'll get them made. Bob

Sorry about the delay guys...I'm working on the as fast as I can. As I said I had to build a new mold and that took some time. The first 5 shipped Last Friday; some of you probably already have them. I'm thinking of doing a gaylords group purchase again. Gaylords new TL series lid is the way to now in my opinon; It's less expensive than the X-2000 and works just as well...the exterior of the lids are identical. I can get you the TL for $850, add $85 for the Speedstur wing/spoiler. You pay the shipping when it arrives. If anyone is interested PM me. I have sold about 2 dozen gaylords lids to guys on this site and a couple hundred roll pans, ask around if you don't already know who I am. If you guys buy a bunch i might be able to get my motor rebuilt...I really want 408ci. Bob

Just an up date for those of you that ordered roll pans. I had to make a new mold since the pans coming out of the old one were looking kinda ragged. I hope to have the first few done by the end of the week. The boxes are made and ready to be picked up; so I may be able to ship a few of them the end of this week if everything goes well. I've got a couple of request for a gaylords speedstur group buy. I can get the new TL version for about $950. I'll need someone to start a thread on it. I'm a supporting member but I don't want to violate any site rules. I like this site way to much to get booted Bob That Gem top looks nice...I may look into carrying them.

You will need to make your on holes. Since there are a hundred difffrent mounting methods it isn't practical for me to pre drill it. You will also need to cut the hole for a hidden hitch if you want to tow.

For those of you that paid with a credit card, I will be carging your card today. Plan on about two weeks or so from now to get your roll pans. If you want a pan and haven't ordered, you have until noon on friday the 15th. That is the final cut off. I will be purchasing materials and ordering the boxes Friday afternnoon so I can get started on these pans. I'm only buying enough to complete this order. The spare can be carried but it looks like crap. Most guys just install it only for out of town trips or just throw it in the bed when they need it. A spare tire relocator will be required if you want to install it. Stylin concepts has them as well as flip up tag holders if you are gonna run a hidden hitch.

Wow, that was fast; it normally takes a week or more to get enough orders. Ok Guys, time to get them built. Ok guys I have enough to get these built for you. TTUPIMPTYTE is sending his PAYPAL. If you want in on this order call me at 316-858-1197 with your Credit card info. Or you can send $345 to my paypal account ([email protected]) please include shipping address, daytime phone number for FedEx and whether it is a business or home address...business addresses are safer since someone has to sing there at your house they will just dump it on your doorstep if no one is home. Once I get 3 paid orders I will start the process...there will be about a 5 day window you can get added to the order, after that you will be unable to get in on this batch. Now, for those that want to B%$# about the cost. It takes about 6 hrs to make one pan, plus materials, plus shipping, plus getting custom boxes made to ship them in (I charge way north of $50 bucks an hour as does any compitent fabricator) you do the math. If you can find someone who can build you a one off pan that fits the SSS for 2 bills have him call me and I'll send all these requests his way. I don't make enough off the pans to pay for my time. I do it more for ego than anything else; but I'll be damed if I'm gonna lose money on them. If you own an SSS you have a 40k plus truck so quit whinning. For those of you who stood up for me and my roll pans thank you very much. I try to build a high quality product that FITS and it's nice to know it's appreciated. Bob

You can use a hidden hitch but it makes your spare hang 2 or 3 inches lower...and it looks kinda It's better to save the money on the spare relocator and just keep the spare in the bed when you travel. I only have one order from blain so far.

Sorry you guys are having issues. Montanna's problem was that it was damaged in shipment. When an Gaylords lid is delivered you should recieve 2 boxes ...a large one with the lid and a second small box with the hinges and hardware. I didn't sell the others so I don't know about those.

Sorry guys I'm sold out at the moment. If you want to start a new thread in appearance section to get at least 3 orders then I will make a new batch. Not worth the effort to do one at a time. Set up time and production time is the same if I do one or a dozen. It's just not worth my time with what I make on them...Now if you want to pay $500 I can probably make it happen The goal is to keep the cost down and i can only do that with higher volume.
