Chrome bowtie w/ black SS
stevebbb replied to RMZracerx234's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
Here is some of his stuff on ebay. His email is in the listing. Very high quality stuff. I highly recommend it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT -
In the for sale section, there is a 2003 red SS with black wheels.

For some reason, they pulled the plug on our internet access at work.

I was at our local 1/8 mile strip last night and a guy was there with a new red Cobalt SS. His best time I observed was 9.64. Not too bad. It was bone stock with just a few miles on it.

I looked too, but no luck.

Some of you have read this, but lots of you haven't. Good reading. http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/148_0505_ss/

Don't resist, it's useless.

Where did everyone get their chrome emblems from? They are hard to find. I found some on ebay, but it says they are seconds. I found some stainless steel emblems here, http://www.streetinspiredkustoms.com/ but when I tryed to order them, it says they are unable to recieve money. Does GM make any?

I am looking to buy some chrome SS emblems for the doors and tailgate, but wondered if there is a good way to remove the old ones and install the new ones. It seems like it could be tricky to get a perfect job. Any tips?

Before I lowered mine, it was RF 35, LF 35 1/8, LR 36 7/8, and RR 36 3/4. I hope this helps.

Price sounds very fair to me. I think I know how this story is going to end. Good luck with the new truck.
-
I might as well put my 2 cents in----stripes should go.
-
Congratulations on the new truck and joining the site and be careful over there. Steve

Hey Hamur, have you had time to get the color breakdown of 2004 SS trucks sold? If so sorry, I did a search but couldn't find anything.
