Not being a smart ass here but I did check out some info on The Secret and The Laws of Attraction on the net and though I'm not one to be skeptical of things right away, this one seems too far fetched. I mean, if I buy a lottery scratch ticket and concentrate really, really, really hard that it's going to be a million dollar winner, I see myself scratching the numbers slowly and then seeing the winning numbers, seeing myself buying a new house with that money, etc., then it will happen? Well, I got news for ya, it didn't. If it was as easy as that, then no one would be poor. I'm not saying people shouldn't have a positive attitude. I think that in some cases, people with bad attitudes that are angry all the time, can actually cause their bodies to become sick and get illnesses. But that doesn't mean that postitive happy people won't get cancer or heart diesease either. JMO.

Sorry. I'd have liked to but I have no time for anything right now. Taking care of my dog who has heart disease is my number one priority. I also own a horse that I only get to see twice a week if I'm lucky. Just not enough time to do all the things I'd like to do. I could use a vacation soon.

I got a parking ticket once for parking too close to the end of the curb (idiot must have been out there with a ruler). Anyway, when I went to take the ticket off the windshield, I noticed some scratches on the side of the truck just under the hood on the driver's side. Obviously, when they went to put the ticket under the windshield, they bent over and either a jacket zipper or a belt buckle scratched it. I was so pissed. Course I couldn't prove it to go complain but I know that's what happened as it wasn't there when I parked it.

Why do they always ask if you know how fast you were going? Uh, yah. Then when you answer, they get all pissed off and tell you it was faster. Why even ask then in the first place if you don't believe me? Is it to try to trick us into saying we were speeding?

I own a Rocky Mountain Horse. This is my second horse. I used to have a Qtr Horse/Morgan buckskin. My boy is 10 and stands 15.1 hh. I mostly trail ride with him. I'm very sorry about your dog. I truly know what you are going through. I have to make the same decision very soon and it's been weighing heavily on my mind. My girl has heart disease. She was diagnosed last June with congestive heart failure. Actually, she was diagnosed two years ago as having an enlarged heart and Cushings. After a year and a half of dealing with coughing spells, fainting spells, fluid in her lungs, difficulty breathing, low blood pressure, loss of appetite, and incontinence, we finally have her meds balanced and all those things are under control. She's been stable since January but this past May, she started getting fluid in her belly from right-sided heart failure. Though her lungs are still free of fluid, the belly fluid is out of control. I've had to bring her to the hospital five times since May to have the fluid removed and three or four days later, it's back. The sad part is, except for that, she's doing really well. She's eating well, she is coherent, and still has that spark. That's what makes it so hard to think about putting her to sleep. I just can't bring myself to plan that day. But we can't keep tapping her belly every week because it removes too much protein so they can't take all of it out. She's on the maximum dose of all her meds and we've tried them all. I'm going to try to keep her comfortable a bit longer but one of these days, I'll be where you are.

I brought my truck to the dealer to be machine buffed, washed and waxed. It looks good but my question is, how can I be sure they actually buffed and waxed it? I mean, it looks really good when I wash it anyway. I looked down at it from my office window and I can still see some light swirls on my tonneau cover so I'm wondering if they just washed it really good and lied about the wax/buff. Sorry but I have a lot of suspicion about dealerships after being burned a few times.
