  1. I most definitely believe. I have seen an appartition and I have felt them. The one I saw happened about 11 years ago. To make a very long story short, I was at my friend's house for Christmas Eve (I worked with her). Her husband's mother was very sick and in the hospital. She was in her nineties I think. Anyway, I'm sitting on the couch after dinner and my friend is looking through her cd's for something and her husband is lighting the fireplace. I thought I saw someone come down the stairs to my left, out of the corner of my eye. I looked and just for a moment I saw a little old lady walking down the stairs. She had her hand on the banister and she was wearing a plain dress with black flat shoes, and had her haid in a bun. It was just for a second that I saw her and then and all of a sudden, all the fire alarms in the house went off. After we opened all the windows and got things back to normal, I asked my friend if there was someone else staying over and she said not, just us. About an hour later, the phone rang and it was her sister-in-law calling to say that the mother had passed away. When we talked in work a few days later, she asked me about when I thought there was someone else in the house. When I described who I saw she said, "Oh my God, you saw Mary!" She must have been coming to say good bye to her son. The second thing happened about a month ago and all I can say is it was evil. I was alseep but woke up because I felt this fear. I looked at my alarm clock and it was quarter of 1 in the morning. The room was pitch black but I had this image of like a devil face, like the Excorcist type of thing. At the same time, I couldn't move. I could see and hear but I couldn't move a muscle for just a few seconds. Then I felt and heard at the same time, a gust of wind go over my face. It was cold and it howled in my ears. I grabbed my crucifix off the bed board and put it around my neck and said some prayers and told whatever it was to leave. The next day I went to church and got some holy water and sprinkled it all over my room and bed and again told "it" to leave me alone. I think it happened because there's been some turmoil in my house lately and it was feeding off it.
  2. Glad I didn't go for the Jeep now. I'll stick with the SS!
  3. I have two Pomeranians. Great dogs; very loyal and protective. Believe it or not, they are excellent watch dogs. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/rocky...os/DSCF0168.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/rockymtnhos/Katy1.jpg
  4. I'm Razor Blade Sapina. I'd rather be Linguini Fra Diavalo.
  5. I'm trying to think of the one that one of the guys in my fishing club had. Can't remember it. Oh, now I can. Forget it; wouldn't work for you if you're in California. It was SMALLIE.
  6. Thanks. My mind is made up on getting the TBSS. I just have to figure out the best way to do this. If the SSS was paid off, I'd just trade it in. I'm almost tempted to pay it off with my credit card (3% rate), and be done with it.
  7. I decided I would like to get the TBSS. I have a conundrum though. I owe $10,000 on the SSS through my credit union. So if I were to trade it, I'd have to come up with the $10,000 on my own, right? If I were to get a deal that left me with $10,000 to finance on the TBSS, I'd have to take out a new loan plus pay off the old one or would they add it on? I think I would be better off selling it and just paying off the loan and then starting new. The problem with that is I'd have to get a deposit of $10,000 to pay off the loan so I could get the title. Not sure if someone would do that. This is tricky.
  8. I'm am thinking more and more about the TBSS now. I will be taking the SSS this weekend for a wash/hand wax at the local dealer I use and see if we can do some talking. If not, I'll go back to my regular dealer in Nashua. He gave me an excellent deal in the Silverado. If they can keep things at what I've got left to finance now, which is $10,000, then a TBSS will be in my future!
  9. This is like the Price is Right, lol. I wish they'd upgrade our SSs. Then it would be a no brainer. It seems like everyone on the block is getting faster than our trucks. I'm not all that keen on modding mine. Too many problems later on. Plus, I've got the extended warranty and I don't want any hassels with that. I'll probably keep the SS for now. It's almost paid for anyway. I just liked the idea of something a little easier to maneuver but in that respect, I could always go with a TBSS!
  10. It is the SRT8. I should have clarified that. Sorry. I'm not serious about it yet but it looks sharp. Only problem is if I'm not able to enjoy the SS's speed, what am I going to do with 425hp? I'll be in jail, lol. I love my SS but sometimes it's a pain trying to park it and I hardly use the space in the bed except when I go skiing. Oh well, for now I'll just keep my eyes on my SS and stop flirting with other vehicles.
  11. Anyone ever own a Jeep and how did you like it? I am starting to think about MAYBE selling the SS and buying an 08 Grand Cherokee. It's got a 6.1 liter and 425hp., 20" wheels, and a ton of goodies that are standard. Not sure about the towing, though I am not towing anything right now either but I like to have the option. The specs said not recommended but I may have misread something.
  12. I'm pretty sure it had a grill like yours. It wasn't a stock grill.
  13. Saw a black SS on Union Street in Lynn today at 11:15 a.m. Has to be one of us; had a black Shopman bowtie.
  14. I grew up watching them, lol. Every afternoon at 3:00. I still watch the New Year's Eve marathon and I have some of my favorite episodes on disk.
  15. I don't know about you but I'm not normal, lol. Seriously though, I have been watching those boys since I was 7 years old and I still crack up when I watch them now (I'm 41). In fact, I don't even have to watch them to laugh about them. Sometimes I'll be in a store with my sister and start imitating them and we'll both crack up. I was doing that this past Halloween. We went to one of those party stores and they had all the Halloween stuff out (before Halloween of course). There was this skeleton thing with a white hooded material over it and it was on a bouncy string. It looked just like that Stooges episode when the parrot gets caught under the sheet and goes flying around and they were afraid of it. The two of us were laughing our asses off right in the middle of the aisle in the store. People must have thought we were nuts.
  16. I'm surprised they haven't banned my beloved Stooges! Kids can watch South Park and Family Guy and all those others but Sesame Street is bad? This world is seriously $#@&ed up.
