I think I will be happy if I can hit 100 MPH at the end of a quarter (at 2,700 ft elevation). I will quit modding at that point At Firebird Raceway in Boise, there is what's called the "100 MPH Club." That is why 100 MPH is my goal.
Mike
Famous last words LOL.
Awesome times Josh.

I'm not going now.
They're only doing 1/8 mile tonight. I think it rained up there today, I think that's why

anybody have a power steering pump for sale?
-
I just went out and pulled on the p/s steering pulley it moved in and out. I took the tension off of the belt and pulled the whole shaft out of the pump, with the pulley. Does that mean the pump is broken, or is that something that can be fixed?
-
Thats what you get for only coming onto the forum when you have a problem Mike!
-
When I cut the wheel hard to the left and gave it some gas my power steering went. I didn't get to look at anything last night, but I know the belt was still on. What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Mike

I don't think the question is used or new parts.
But, like everyone else said, if you are tearing into the motor make it STRONG. It's a lot of money to spend and then cut corners to save a couple hundred bucks.

Thanks,
Mike

I'll try to make it. I haven't been up there in a while. I just don't want to be disappointed in my times because of the weather

i'll be there IN THE RENTAL CAR
What do you think the rental car will run
I'll be there Saturday.
I'm glad you guys are going

If you are running the stock intake you are going to need a -4 to 1/8th npt adapter and you an remove the core from the shrader valve and install the adapter and then the fuel pressure sender on there.
I had a hell of a time figuring that out until someone told me I needed the -4 AN fitting. I also had to run a wire from the sending unit to a good ground.
Good luck

FYI Opening weekend at PRP has been changed to next weekend, April 21 and 22.

I've been running my Gibson Cat-back for 3 years now, and I have NO complaints. I had the Gibson shortys on for 2 years with no complaints. The shortys held me over until I could afford the Dynatech L/T's.
I sold my shortys to MontanaSS, he seems pretty happy with them.
