I installed the Ground Force kit. I never flipped the leaf spring, because I couldn't see what the difference was with fliping it Also I never installed shims because I don't feel any vibration.

What does flipping the spring do??

I am very happy with my kit. Just make sure you get an allignment.

Well I wouldn't say it is in perfect condition, but for an 85, I thought it was damn clean. I tried to Kelly Blue Book it, and they only go back to 87.

The guy wants $4000 for it. I would think he would take $3500. Why would a 22 year truck be worth this much?

IMO it's not going to bring alot of money not having a/c and only having the 305. Does it have power windows/locks? I was looking at a 78 a few weeks back that only had 60k original miles on it, it had factory air and a 350 motor. I could have bought it for around $4,300.00.

There is a 1985 half ton pick up for sale in my neighborhood. It's 2WD 305CI with132,000 miles. This truck is almost spotless, in and out. With tons of new parts under the hood, new tires but no A/C.

What do you think it's worth?

I played it over my sisterinlaw's yesterday, she's hooked. Now I'm going to buy it one day this week. I have to say I'm addicted.

I went last year. I only saw 1 Silverado SS and 1 TB SS. There were some cool trucks though. I don't know what happened to last year's plans. It would have been better if the original plans worked out.

With the headers alone, you would hear a small change in tone at idle. At WOT is where you will hear the difference.

Me and Holty had a ball on Saturday. There were some bad ass cars there.

We also ran our best times ever. Josh had a 12.5x and I had a 12.48 . We were both pretty pumped up after those runs.

I am selling my Gibson Stainless shorty headers. I had these on my 2003 Silverado SS for 2-1/2 years. Remember these are Stainless. They are just tarnished and no longer have there polished look. $275 + Shipping.
