  1. What would happen if I just removed my helper springs? When I installed my ground force lowering kit, the instructions said to flip them. That seems useless to me. I thought by removing them the rear would lower a little more. Would this hurt anything? :dunno:

  2. I just installed my lowering kit (Shackles and keys). The front looks awesome, actually I think I should crank it up a little bit. But the rear only came down 1". I put the bolt through the top hole in the shackle(furthest from the ground) Isn't that the correct hole? If so, I it's not low enough. I don't have time to mess with it today, I'm leaving for vacation this afternoon. I just hope there is a way to bring it down at least another inch. What do you think?

  3. Get yourself a custom tune and I would say you'll definately beat him :thumbs:

    Oh yeah, and don't tell him about your tune. He'll be even more pissed when he thinks you beat him with just a CAI and a cat-back.

  4. DIAMONDS!! Don't waste the money on diamonds. That's money that could be well spent on more mods.

    There should be a section on Silveradoss.com called "Holty's project of the week" :D I swear it's a new one every week.

    My mods are on a quarterly basis.

  5. I think this is the PN for the gasket #15077362 . It"s a metal ring that compresses when you tighten the bolts down.

    Make sure you get all of the material out of the cat. I missed a piece on the driver's side and it decided to come loose a month later. I was wondering what the hell was rattling :devil: I had to take it all apart a second time. :devil:
