I have a stock driver's side that needs some lovin' with broken tabs and the mounting clip. You have to get creative but repairable. Other than that it's in good shape, $25 shipped.

Some good info for you guys if you didn't know. The wire size is inversely proportional to the resistance of the wire, the larger gauge wire equals less resistance which lets current flow easier. Keep your wire lengths to a minimum, more length equals more resistance. Also don't forget about any bonding jumpers for the ground, I like to beef those up too. Ground your amps at the closest single ground point to the cab frame, mechanical bolted not self tapping screw. Upgrading your battery to an AGM type like Optium or Kinetik will help out a lot, the battery acts as a buffer with the alternator when operating. I run a dual alternator setup with a 350 amp high output for my system/inverter and a custom made battery box holding a Kinetik HC2400 mount underneath the cab right under the amp rack. I'm an electician and been messing around with systems since I was a teenager. My latest system is built for competition and by far my best custom work. My neighbor just totalled my truck in May (wasn't his fault) so now I'm working putting everything in the new SSS, sucks but shit happens. Anyway, looking good nick. Yeah I was debating on doing it because of those issues but I'm always up for a challenge. I might do a practice run on my totalled 03 and see how it fits with the framing. As for leaking, I think if there's a good seal around the perimeter, the drain lines should do to rest. Just have to keep them free from debris. The headliner cut out might not work with the hump in the middle, so I'll probably buy the one with the sunroof. Does anyone know about the control? Is it a data bus link from the module to the BCM and can it be programmed? Thanks all for any help or suggestions.

I just bought an 05 OEM sunroof that I want to install in my 04 SSS. Has anyone done this or have the documentation? Also is the roof sheetmetal piece meant for the sunroof the same as the standard? e.g. additional supporting, mounting points. My other concern is the control for it, can the BCM be reprogrammed and is it capable to accept the new wiring? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Got ya, I would like to sell that with the mirror. If I remember right, the lens cover on the passenger has a broken clip and I used a dab of silicone to hold it in.

I got it out of the attic and looked it over. I bought the truck with 30K miles and took it right off and put the Volant on. Got the new black cover Volant for the new truck that I'm looking foward to put it on along with the ram air attachment that I was able to salvage from the wreck. Anyway, I'll do $75 plus shipping, let me know and I'll take pics for you today.

Yeah, I've been working on it. Been working night shift all summer and my day hours have been shot sleeping. Got two more weeks and back to working days..
