when i got my first 05 AWD black SSS i was 17 (already out of school) *the day i joined this forum*.. it was my dream truck because i owned 2 (1995 and 1996 impala ss) so what would be better than having a ss truck to match..
but when stolen and getting the ins money i couldnt find another SSS in TEXAS for about 6months so i bought another impala ss..
but about 2weeks ago i sold that imp and bought my 2nd (and hopefully my last) SSS!
oh and im 21 now
EDIT- i always wondered if i was the only black guy around here
Good to see you around again and congrats on finding another SS. I remember when your original one was stolen.

From the looks of several posts, I have no huge Christmas credit card debt due in January. Gee it's nice to get nothing after all.

Well it only took two months....but I finally received a check in the mail from the city for $527 to cover the cost of the damage.

I'm still kicking and have my SS, just not active much on here these days. Sorry to hear of the big D but it sounds like you have a good attitude. I don't really know you like others do, I just remember seeing you being active a lot in the past.

Someone a few blocks down the street from me last year bought a black TBSS and I interduced myself while out riding my bike around the neighborhood one day and told him what I had and asked about his and all he did was complain how much he hated the car and acted aggravated that I even said hi to him. He was in the street taking things out of the TBSS and I was on the street riding past, so it's not like I was in his driveway or property. After that when I see him, I just ignore but his wife seemed to like my SS when I drove past a few times. They have since traded in the TBSS on a ugly Kia Sportage. Go figure.

Voted. Stays in the garage and only comes out to play on nice sunny days. The inside still has that new car smell. : ) Every year when I take it to the dealer for state inspection the service guy always makes a guess at how little miles I put on it since he last saw it the year before, before he looks to see what the actual miles are. He also likes to point out how the original tires are still on it.

I'm still around and still the original owner of my SS and plan on keeping it that way for another 50yrs or more, if God allows me.
People are posting miles, lets just say mine are extremely low for the year. Hell, mine would be considered very low for a 3yr old car.

I have the original HTC Incredible and it's nothing but junk. I've had it since early last year and I'm counting the days to get rid of this POS for something more reliable. I'm still not sure yet which direction I'll go, I like features the Droid has but I also like features the Iphone has, so we'll see.

Why did it take 5 months to say anything about the trade? I was looking at these and the Sky as a fun summer car but I would NEVER trade in the SS for one, just seems strange to me.

Havn't had to many runins with chicks while driving my SS because THERE ARE NONE in Alaska! JK I don't know. I know I've had lots of people looking at it before.
Same here in Pittsburgh, chicks could care less. Every so often a high school kids points but nothing more.

Other then the one I've seen a hundred times on pawn stars, I have also seen one on one of those house hunting shows on HGTV and I also saw one that a contractor was using as a work truck with a ladder rack on one of those home improvement shows that was beat to death.

The red one looks to much like a Mazda RX8 and the silver one looks like a Honda Civic got it on with a Mitsu Eclipse. I do have to admit though, I like that silver one.
