  1. I've had the itch lately to buy something new, but that would never involve getting rid of the SS. I bought that truck brand new off the showroom floor 7yrs ago and have never owned anything this long before. I've always traded my things in after 2yrs but this one is a keeper. When I paid the SS off 4yrs ago I went and bought a one year old 4Runner and now thats paid off. Buying the 4Runner was my best decision ever as I have never put a cent into it and the thing is still going strong like a brand new car, and still looks new. The trade in value of it is around 16k which could allow me to buy a nice GMC Denali, but I also still really like my 4Runner and love the no payment thing.

I only drive the SS on weekends and sometimes a month or more will go by before I drive it again and I think at times that maybe I should sell it to someone who would drive it more then me, but then I get into it and start it up and drive it out the driveway with a big smile on my face and all of the negative thoughts go away.

  2. I hear ya about the mortgage they sure do suck, im gona be an old man when I pay that off....

Which is why this is my current goal. : )

Congrats on paying the SS off, it's a fantastic feeling, know I sure was excited when I paid mine off a few years ago. I will be making my last car payment on my DD in a few weeks and I can't wait!

  3. I ride all summer long. The last 5 months or so when I can get out (weather permitted) I just ride around the neighborhood. I'm looking forward to nice weather to start hitting the trails. I normally go to a local park that has 30 miles of trails through the woods, some are real intense while others are just right for me. I am not into jumping or anything like that, so I ride the more medium level trails.

And as for my dirtbike, it's sat in my garage now for 3yrs without being touched. I tried to start it up last summer only to find I left gas in it so now the carb is all messed up and I dont know how to take it apart to clean it. : (

The wife and I did the same ...

Samsung 55" LED TV, Samsung 3D Blu-Ray, Shrek 3D starter pack and a WiFi adapter. (We already had the Bose 3.2.1. system.) The TV itself is only .9" thick ... We are now streaming Netflix directly to our TV from our Wireless router in our living room.

The picture is absolutely INCREDIBLE ... But sadly, watching movies in Blu-Ray on the LED, almost looks too fake.

I have my eyes on a 46" Samsung LED thats internet ready but cant commit to the price tag just yet.

I never heard any complaints about picture quality with blu-ray on LED.

  5. I believe it has 41 miles on it. I don't know of anyone that can keep that damn thing hanging from the glove box for over 50 miles lol.

The tires and pedals look good just dirty, and the rust ring around the rotor is normal for steel that is unprotected.

I have my trucks original window sticker and it says $43,646 on it.

I still have all original stickers and that stupid tag hanging from the glove box. : ) Someone pretended that they were going to take it off once and I almost broke their hand. I also still have the plastic wrap stuff on some of the parts in the back seat area. I don't remember what my MSRP price says on my window sticker, its between 42 and 43k and mine came with every single option available including engine block heater.

  6. I don't know, the brake pedal and tires look good to me, just has some mud on them. I still have the factory tires and mine do not look anywhere near as good as those. Also, look at the leather on the drivers seat, it's so crisp and new looking without any folds or cracks from someone sitting on it. Looks like it could be legit to me.

  7. I remember about 80% of that stuff. Why wasn't super mario brothers mentioned in that list? I used to watch the TV show that was on back then, or was this late 80's? I still have the original nentendo with just about every game for it and I also have the very first Atari from 1980 with all of its original games. I remember when my parents bought that game system, we played that thing non stop all day long.
