  2. The Wizard and the Northwestern are primary vessels shown on Deadliest Catch. Pretty nice pics.
  3. I am still chuckling over that one.
  4. Ahhhh...memories of what a clean, red SS looks like. Good work, it looks great!
  5. Maybe you should use some of that intelligence of yours and apply some reading comprehension. I never said you did not know anything. I specifically called out your comments on this particular subject, how they apply to military families serving abroad, and the children born into those families. I am sure that scholar is more knowledgeable than I am, as well as you and your peers; however, maybe someone should have taken time to read the United States Naturalization Act of January 29, 1795. Combine it with the wording contained in the 14th Amendment of The Constitution of the United States of America and you have a very clear meaning of what our founders intended the term 'Naturalized Citizen' to mean. As I pointed out earlier, children born overseas to two American parents is automatically an American Citizen, as long as one parent had a residence in the U.S. prior to the birth of the child. The implication of what you are suggesting, that children born to U.S. service men and women serving abroad are not 'naturalized' citizens of the United States, has a very far reaching scope and have a profound affect on this country.
  6. Someone told me once that it is sometimes better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. Your comment proves that you really have no idea about U.S. Citizenship and how it is determined; especially in regards to military families serving abroad. Children born overseas to two American parents. A child born overseas to a married couple, both of whom are American citizens is automatically an American, as long as one parent had a residence in the U.S. prior to the birth of the child. No particular period of residence is required; even a residence of one day is sufficient. The parents can obtain proof of their child’s citizenship by reporting the birth to the nearest American consulate or embassy, and asking for a passport for the child. The Department of State will issue a Certificate of Birth Abroad for these new American citizens. Children born overseas to one American parent, one foreign citizen. For children born after November 14, 1986, the married U.S. citizen parent -- male or female -- can "transmit" citizenship to his or her foreign-born child. The U.S. citizen parent must prove that he or she was physically present in the United States for five years prior to the child’s birth, and two of those years must be after age 14. Time in military service overseas or as a military dependent counts as "physical presence" in the United States. In most cases, the U.S. citizen parent can simply go to the nearest American embassy or consulate and apply for a U.S. passport for the child. The new Child Citizenship Act also establishes a new procedure which allows the child to travel to the United States on a visitor’s visa and obtain a certificate of citizenship here.
  7. Yeah, because that's a far fetched theory!
  8. F%^k the F6%^king F%^ker. Boy, this is a shock. He was a mighty fine comedian with pretty expressive points of view. The world needs more people like him.
  9. Now. that, is one funny story. Of course, your boys will have a much different story to tell their kids. You know, the one where dad said tie it down but they didn't think they needed to. Along with many funny descriptions, that will only get better in time, of how the grill shuttle slowly lifted off from the SS launch pad.
  10. Alcohol...the drinking kind.
  11. Ipod for me... My normal rotation consists of : Blue October Seven Mary Three Godsmack Disturbed

  13. Ok, so stupid question. Do you just spray the MAF with contact cleaner and let it dry or do you have to wipe it down with a clean rag? How do you avoid damaging the screen?
  14. I use the waterblade first followed up by the Absorber. Works great!
  15. Dang...I've been on this site about 4yrs and am not even close to 1k.
  16. My favorite was Kenny Mayne on SportsCenter a few years ago. He was talking about Randy Johnson's back injury and referred to it as a "buldging dick in his back" instead of a buldging disk.
  17. It's my understanding, from a couple of APD buddies, that you are only supposed to get 1 "fix-it." "Fix-it" means you can go to court to contest the ticket, prooving that you have removed the tint from the window, and not have to pay the fine. If you get nailed again for tint then you supposedly are asked to pay a $100 per window fine.
  18. Good luck...I have a huge light sensitivity issue in the summer from tree/pollen alergies. The eye doctor was willing to do it but APD and AST laughed me out of their offices. I have only added 20% to the front driver and passenger windows and have been stopped 3 times now. All three times I just told the officer about my light sensitivity issue and they let me go without a problem (luckily all three stops have been in spring/summer). I have never been issued a "fix-it" and apparently have not been flagged in their system as having been warned either (means each cop treats it as a first time offense).
  19. Jeez, they haven't gotten far on that bridge int he last 4yrs. The last time I was there, 4yrs ago, they were pouring the footings for the sections you see there now.
  20. Dude...it is a total scam. DO NOT waste your time. Check this out, it is hilarious. How to handle a "European" car buying scammer.
  21. I run Firefox3 (Beta) with adblock plus, windows defender, and spybot S&D routinely updated with the tea-timer. As has already been said, Spybot works good on a clean system and defends well against most malware. Windows Defender, I found, has surprisingly worked very well for me. Of course, I keep WinXP updated as well. My company forces me to run Symantec...otherwise I would be using AVG for anti-virus. Krambo, it sounds like you might have a bad case of the smitfraud. Take a look at this topic "SmitFraud How-to". If you follow this guide, you should be cleaned up in no time.

Great...now I have the X-Files theme song stuck in my head.
  23. I would call myself a 'hockeynut.' Pens & Wings in the Finals. I am not a fan of either team, but it's hockey. I would really like to see the Pens win, only because they are a young team and I dislike them less than the Wings.
  24. Obviously Jessica hasn't rubbed off on him enough... Can't they screen these idiots before giving them a mic and assuming people will want to listen because they are a 'celebrity?'
