  1. Don't I know it... For the condition you described...go on take the money and run!!!
  2. I am hanging on this thread for pics as I am looking to do a 2/3 or 3/4 on my '11 SD.
  3. Had mine lowered 3" in the back using only shackles on stock shocks and towed a 4200lb trailer with a 420lb hitch weight. I had no problems whatsoever. I did find that the rated hitch weight and the payload capacity were reduced but did not effect overall performance. Hell, I even carried a 1.5 ton load of rocks in the back and never once bottomed out.
  4. Just remember that when I come knocking on your door...
  5. I'm partial to the "Supersonic Blue Metallic" available on the 2011 Z06's. Looks good on the Vette, not so sure about how it would look on the Bel Air though. Another GM paint color I really like is the "Sonoma Red Metallic" found on the 2009 GMC lineup.
  6. My preference is to drop it first...having a tough time selling that to the wife though. She HATED driving the SS after I dropped it. So, I am thinking I will use the thought of dropping it as a way to soften her on the other mods, do the exhaust and tonneau (tonneau is must and is just a matter of time) then come back to the drop. Appreciate the feedback!
  7. That was the first I noticed when reading it too. I laughed.
  8. As the title reads...Since getting the SD in July I've had all sorts of crazy ideas. I've been able to narrow down my first set of mods to "practical" and "boy, that'd be nice." Already done: Ordered the AutoCal Installed 2-way remote starter Can't decide which to do next: Help me decide which to do next: DJM 2"/3" (Control arm version) Leer 800 electric Tonneau Corsa Sport Future "back burner" Cam replacement Thoughts?
  9. I like the one on the Left.
  10. The interior looks like a scene out of Pulp Fiction... A lot of wasted money on a poor decision. Not surprised it is a RI area code either.
  11. Have the cops in RI given you shit about the tags? RI is one of those states that wants you to reg your vehicle there so they can tax the hell out of you (Born & Raised in RI...all too familiar w/ their tactics).
  12. After re-reading your post I realized my error...I thought you meant street scene grille's in an SS bumper. You'll probably have to drill them in.
  13. I had one of those for a while. It was a blast to drive. For the little 4 banger it had, I could roast up 1st & 2nd and it handled like it was on rails. It was my hold-over for the camaro...then kids came. Solstice had to go and no camaro. Top it off the SS went in favor of a "crew cab." Thanks to Matt and Jason, every time I get in the SD now all I think is "the crew cab" in that low, disappointing voice.
  14. Is it Friday yet? Need some SC PRON!!
  15. They're held on with a tension clamp that has reverse snag barb on it. Slides right on and very difficult to get off.
  16. Sure is. I hope you get it worked out and it is nothing serious.
  17. This is too easy...that's what she said. Giggity.
  18. I remember that feeling! Loved it so much I'm trying again with the SD. Congrats.
  19. The Blue/Silver would look TITS, IMO!
  20. I drove it...didn't notice or feel much difference at all. They wanted to much for it...06 with 47k, interior was a bit rough..they wanted 22K and would not budge.
  21. I'll give him a B for creativity and a F for look, time, money...just about everything else. That thing looks absolutely disgusting.
  22. That's a crock of sh!& if you ask me... what an a-hole.
  23. Looks like a combo sport.off-road truck. I like the way she thinks though with it being a 2-door and all.
  24. #1 for me. You're not open to any other options, but the Supersonic Blue Metallic on the new Vette ZR1 is pretty damn nice and similar to the Cyber Grey.
  25. It's a Chevrollac Escalarado (borrowed name). Would really love to have a set of those on my Denali and the wife's Tahoe.
