Damn son...been on this site since '04 and still haven't hit that mark. So, ya, you're a POST WHORE!
-
I offered to store it for him too...though I think I turned him off to that idea when I mentioned I would get reacquainted with the gas pedal as rent. Have a safe trip and enjoy your down time, Jason.

I had to drag the window all the way across my second screen.

Indeed it was. I brought it to the stealership a couple times for this very problem and was always sent away with "your K&N filter oil collecting on the MAF is causing your problem." Honestly, I hadn't seen the CEL come on in well over a year prior to selling it to you so I never really gave it much thought (outside of what we already discussed).
-
I have always used the steering wheel controls. Bring up the oil life display and press and hold the reset arrow until 100% shows up.

I think I like the way the author thinks... "A ute is usually about $5,000 Aussie dollars ($4,330 USD) cheaper than the equivalent four-door sedan. To translate, that adds up to 3,703 cans of beer or about a dozen rear tyres."

Not a bad freebie!

Won't the Navy pay to ship it for you as part of your PCS? Sell the Dodge and meet the SS in Miami.
-
Roughly 5HP per sticker!
-
I knew what it was said to be worth and knew what I wanted for it. I could have sold it for more, but I didn't. I felt I got what I wanted for it and you got what you felt was a helluva deal. Both parties happy.
-
I can understand why you guys do this. However, I have always found that SS is the most fun to drive in the winter. Call me crazy, I guess.
-
I've been part of many of these type work sessions...the results are always amazing.

Those Coopers were all I ever needed in the snow. Excellent grip on the go and slow in the snow & ice. The stock chrome's have seen every bit of the last 7 winters too. Don't look bad, do they?

When I had my Solstice I was pretty up on Pontiac and Holden. I remember hearing about these in 2009 and was glad they decided not to produce them. From a performance stand point, I think they would have been fun to mod the Sh!t out of...uglier than homemade sin though.

Check Out This 3Rd Gen Camaro Stand On Its Tail And Almost Mount A Fox

and it still ran 11's... -
Trust me...your truck has seen plenty of sideways snow driving action, parking lot brodies, etc. I think you'll LOVE it.
-
5FDP always makes the pedal hit the floor for some reason.
-
Wow...this was a blast from the past. Been here since 04 when I bought the SS and I just sold it to a fellow enthusiast (Jason*) a few months ago with only 53k on it. Still kicking around because none of the other forums match the Silveradoss.com brotherhood.

It's even easier than that...you don't even have to go to a members profile. I even used paint for this Jason...
-
Um...wow!

Some Pics Fro You To Look At Add Your Own As Well

To each their own, but that SS is hard to look at. You're happy with it, so that's all that matters.
-
Why not another meet before the snow flies? And, would you girls get a room already?
-
I had this very same issue a couple of times. As 8hnpSS mentioned, after a while the heating element burns out and develops a "short" or "open" condition. You can change all the relays or fuses you want, the only way to fix the issue is to have the element itself replaced.

Awesome, no ricer finger flyby. Nice change of pace to get a thumbs up.
