  1. if you've never towed there is a ton to learn. braking being a HUGE difference.
  2. You should pay him 100% for his work ... and he should pay 100% to fix your truck correctly. I can't believe you would even consider buying parts, paint to match, and install them over fixing a SCRATCH in your exisitng equipment. Luckily you are black and it shouldn't be an issue with paint matching (red=bad). The guy was honest and upfront with you. Why would you beat him down on paying for his work? I would let him fix it and then if something doesn't look right he is responsible to make it right. If you go to a buddies shop you are stuck with it. He sounds like a sound business man and won't hurt his repuatation over an incident like this. Sucks big time they scratched your truck though. Hopefully they will fix it right and you won't have to worry about it. You should probably take pictures and some documentation if you think it will become a problem.
  3. Pushing the button disables DRL's not Auto Headlights. So if you are trying to shut off Auto Headlights by pressing the dome override 3-10000 times, your truck isn't broke, its operator error. Are you trying to shut of DRL's or Auto Headlights? If you want to shut off Auto Headlights, is it because they come on too early or because you want to drive in the dark? If you give some details you can get better answers.
  4. Yes you can turn (cut) drilled / slotted rotors. Although a lot of shops won't do it because the interrupted cut is hard on the tooling, they tend to chip and break the carbide tips.
  5. funny. you have an icon named "do not click"
  6. Congrats Bro Brad ..... Here's the present I bought you ........ it's an Ipod
  7. <------------wishes he could afford L series lense(s).
  8. +1 for Bob47 He knows his stuff and is a really good guy. He is a trusted source
  9. I got bored and tried a different background for you. I deleted the black background and turned it into clear (whatever the page background is, the truck background would be) ... but it looks dumb. (shows black in the preview ... but full size is clear)
  10. I shrunk your sig picture down to the biggest it can be (rules wise) just save this to photobucket and do it like your current one. You will probably have to rename it, photobucket doesn't like pics with the same name. ***make sure you click it to make it full size before you save it. ***

  17. I guessing you took off the tailgate? That looked like a massively hot fire. Glad that custom airbrush didn't get ruined. Good luck with your search for a new ride!
  18. my first thoughts as well. welcome (officially I guess )
  19. Maybe that is why it wasn't tapped ... too big of a hole and the tap didn't work and they didn't care to fix it at the factory. but as 'automated' as everything is anymore I highly doubt the rim was drilled to large to begin with ... prolly a screw up in the shop.
  20. Couldn't have been happier with my PCM4Less tune.
  21. I suggest you do it saturday incase you run into troubles.
