I am almost 100% sure I put the thermostat in the right way. And I know its getting enough air. I put the tranny cooler right where the stock one is and there is nothing in front of it. And dont you think if I put the thermo in backwards it would not work at all? Like block fluid from gettin through? I have a TT2600 with an FLT l5 tranny with a radix behind it all. Wouldnt you think mine would be a little hotter than yours? I dunno

Mine lasted me a pretty good while until the 2-4 band went on me. You should be ok for the winter.

Yes i did install the thermostat. I cut the stock hoses from the part where they are rubber and i stuck the thermostat in between there and the cooler. My trans fluid is brand new. I would expect mine to be hotter than yours as i have more mods. So im assuming the only way to fix this then Mr. P. would be to remove it?

It was only 73 degrees out. I took it on the highway and it did not get any lower than like 178. Im so pissed, I dont understand what the problem is.

Before i installed my new cooler my temps would be around 180-190 now i installed the cooler and my temps are around 180 to 185. There has to be something wrong. The new cooler is like 3 times the size. Any ideas anyone?

Well i floored it when the light turned green, spun all 4 and then let off and the tensioner went bye bye. Fn POS you'd think they could have made it a little stronger.

ok so i noticed that if i where to install the heat exchanger upsidedown and backwards it would sit a little higher. Is this ok to do and do i still mount the hoses in the same places? I have picks of it done both ways. Someone please let me know the right way. This one shows the way i want to do it. This one shows the way my guts tells me is the right way though. If you notice the bracket is on a different side for each way. Just went out and tried it the first way shown and realized it wont work cause the frame is in the way. Is it ok to reverse it?

Ive got the cold bog as well. Doesnt affect me at all as long as it runs fine warm. I dont drive it unless its warm anyways.

I bought a TB stall planning on putting it in my truck but my plans have changed to an FLT L5 trans and a yank TT2600. I will let it go for $280 shipping included. It would be $348.06 with shipping from gm to do this and keep your stock TC. This is new from GMPARTSDIRECT.COM. I never installed it or even took it out of the box.

What's the quickest/fastest you've gone at the track? Lots of dead stock low 13 second "homos" out there, and some of the modded trucks are quite a bit faster..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont have a problem with srt-10 owners. Its these ones in perticular that are just total faggets. Ask kevin (krambo). And i ran a 13.2 and now i have a new flt-l5 tranny and a yank tt2600 so im sure ill be able to take all of them.
