  1. No moss under those tires!! Good luck with the sale.
  2. You my friend, are killing me! Look up Badass, and well, you get the picture...I'm still willing to kick in that extra $10, I just need to come up with the other $60K. Too many toys...too many toys...too many toys...
  3. Lol. Yeah, I get that! But, he still hasn't come clean on what he is working on............??????? Enquiring minds want to know!
  4. I'll pay the extra $10! That thing is beautiful!!!! GLWS
  5. If you decide to sell those stock rims shoot me a pm.
  6. I would give $600-$700 no problem if they were in great shape now. You once could find them all day long with tires for $800!! So many people going back to stock these days, and I'm just not interested in repros.
  7. Lot's of nice mods. I noticed that front end right away though. For the miles and the money, I would have thought a little more attention to detail would have went a long way here. Still, a lot of truck, and the best color!
  8. I really don't see the wisdom to part it out. Waste of a good SS, plus huge hassle for you. Sell it, ship it, or just take it with you.
  9. Good luck man, but something tells me you may end up deciding to keep it, Been there, done that. Nice truck either way
  10. Might be the way I go. Not my favorite looking tire, but their rep is undeniable.
  11. Man! Those are agressive on a SS! Would look great on a lifted SS to me, but I bet yours is a beast in the winter though.
  12. I pretty much agree with you, I just wish I would have picked up an extra set of wheels when people were let'em go for nearly nothing.
  13. Hey guys, I looked at some of the old threads dealing with this topic, but kind of wanted to get a fresh perspective. Since a 2nd set of stock 20" wheels are becoming almost impossible to find, I looking for a good year round tire to replace my original LS's with only 21k on them. They're not wore out, or cracking yet, but I'm guessing 10 year old tires probably need to go, although the Cobra tires are now 18+ and counting, but that's another story. Priorities to me in order: Stock size, look good on the truck(both tread design and sidewall), good snow traction. The stock LS's traction in deep snow seemed sketchy at best to me. Michelins have a great rep all around, but the sidewall looks...well just not my look I guess. Has anyone tried the Eagle GT's? Nitto 420's seem very popular, but what about snow traction? Suggestions? Thanks!!
  14. So what's your price? And what condition are they in?
  15. Man, I hope that's not true, but if it is, I'll take those chromes when they are available.
  16. Damn! That sucks! What a shame for a SS to see such a demise...
  17. So sad to hear, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
  18. As bad as that looks, I've got a Arrival Blue SS near me with lime green, yes lime green!! fake flames or graphics of some kind on the front. I've seen it for years, and have always wondered just what this guy was thinking. What do they say? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder??? I'll try to get a pic sometime for the forum's approval.
  19. Wow, I didn't intend to open this bag of worms??? That being said, Thing1 looks to have the lowest mileage SS out there, at least on this forum anyway. I guess there could be one with lower miles, and the owner is just afraid to come forward But again, congrats to Thing1 on a beautiful SS find. He wins!! Well, until this mystery man makes himself known.
  20. Absolutely! You can enjoy it and still have the lowest mileage SS. 25 miles, plus it sounds like you don't mind spending the time shining on it, that truck must look amazing!! Congrats man! Sorry I missed the announcement when you got, but will definitely want you to keep us all posted.
  21. Wow!! What else can you say? Damn nice truck......
  22. Thing1 give me some details. It seems to me alot of SS's out there have been used sparingly, including mine. Either way, I think this is an awesome truck, whether used daily or just for a Sunday ride, and it should be respected for what it is, and has certainly earned it's place in the truck HOF. Long live the SS!!!!
  23. You are shitting me? What a find? Congrats to Thing1!!! Pics?? Color? Year? or maybe I"ve just missed all this info. Lol.
  24. HIghest milelage thread is an awesome resource. It gives everyone a heads up for what to look for on their own SS, and possible issues in the future. I'm just curious what is the lowest mileage SS still out there. Purchased my 03' new in June of 04', and it currently has 21,638 on the clock.
