  1. Love Bugs are different from lady bugs...little black flies that serve NO purpose. That's how they ALWAYS look...2 of 'em hooked together, flying around having sex and ruining paint. Their little acidic asses eat our paint SO fast, it's rediculous. In HOURS, seriously. Here's some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovebug - Brian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's awesome. I google image'd love bugs and a bunch of lady bug pics came up so I assumed they were the same.
  2. We call em lady bugs out here... Wait til you see them all swarm a single tree... Eerie seeing tens of thousands of bugs in one spot... Kind of like this, but 100x
  3. I'm surprised the unions let him do that with Chrysler back in the day, with the $2/hr pay reduction across the board... No way that would happen now. (We did an Iacocca case study in a project management course I took last week) You've gotta look at their market caps, not share price. Ford is around 14.7B, GM 17.8B, they're not too far apart.
  4. As long as you're not running forced induction, it's all in the tune.

    Gone,

If it's not bent, I'd like to grab that brace that connects the corner of the bed-fender directly in front of the right rear tire to the floor of the bed... Can just barely be seen in the lower left of this picture: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e349/che...g%20out/ss2.jpg
  6. The earlier radix kits used individual square gaskets for each port as opposed to the style of gaskets used by GM on our trucks. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That isn't the only problem the L92 heads have a raised port and from what I have seen it looks as if they are shifted slightly to one side, but the bolt pattern remains the same. I took the LS1 Weiand aluminum intake I have and bolted it to the L92 head and the port was high enough and far enough to one side for me to see the corner of the port on the head. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Good to know. Basing my ponderings on ss-boon-ss's post only. Thanks for the info.

  8. Would this work with the radix that utilizes the 8 squarish gaskets as opposed to the one-piece-per-side gaskets?
  9. Thanks for that info. I'll look for a new OS for the g/f's tahoe then, as that looks like a fix.
  10. Sounds like it's a situation that occurs from time to time with my girlfriend's tahoe, and has happened in my SS on a couple of occassions. Sorta feels like it starts out in 3rd, then jumps into first... Not sure what the cause is though...

    Gone,

its Brian...but I'm callin ya anyways!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, My bad... Where did I get Mike from? Eitherway....glad you called! We can start selling parts real soon! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mike is laynlow77.
  12. Scary news sells better than calming news... I've heard that there was some big oil discovery in the gulf coast that is supposed to help with demand issues...
  13. That's probably my next gun purchase.
  14. Glock is far down the list IMO...
  15. Congrats on getting what sounds like a good deal... But gas prices are going up for you?? They're about 60 cents off the highest I've seen them, with most stations around here around 3-3.10 for premium.
  16. Very nice choice. I'll be giving the girlfriend money to purchase a sig for herself pretty soon here, they're great guns.

Ah, that is the most likely culprit then. Do you have the stock MAF to plug in and compare?

VE = Volumetric Efficiency. It is the table that defines fueling based on RPM and Manifold Pressure. Normally, I'd agree, but with the mods that you have, combined with the fact that the MAF is also still in play, there is something else causing your high trims. Are you using EFI Live or HPT?
  20. Very high, IMO. You should be able to easily do it yourself...
  21. Wish I had a stocker I could trade you for...
  22. The two OS's are goign to be different. Injector Flow Rates different. If you want to copy over, I'd compare the VE tables of the two, PE enabler, PE multiplier, Rev Limiter, High/low/base spark tables, fuel mixture spark correction, all transmission tables, etc
  23. My justification is on the fact that octane has a different effect on knock at different load ratings on the motor. BTW, that method above is for FI motors only. Boosted, I reduce quite a bit more in the boost regions, just to be safe. I'd rather it be down on power if it failed over into the low octane table than have it run too hot. Also, with your supercharger, I wouldn't do the 87 octane test...
  24. Check the fuel line hookups on it (fuel manifold). If it has two quick connect fittings, it's pre-04. If it has one line, it is 04+. Justin
