  1. I'm interested to see pics of this build. Keep EM coming
  2. How do you break down 60% spl and 40% sq? I don't understand?
  3. I do too, but he rips on this guy for having a step side "SS". Can't buy them either. Take of the ss badges and it would be a diff story. Otherwise it's all the same to me, and alot of others on here. Stop disgracing the true silverado SS.
  4. If me having a real ss Isn't a big deal to you, then why did you try to be like the rest? Clone, fake, wannabe, they're all similar in meaning. I don't know this guy posting this step side truck with SS badges. But people do it all the time. Shoot how many Harley Davidson Chevys are out there? Alot, gm never made one, ford did! I hate all SS badges on non ss vehicles and my main reason? When you get toasted buy a Hemi and he brags to his buddies that he beat an SS, then we all get the rap that all SS trucks are slow. Stop singling this guy out, cause to the uneducated buyer, yours is no different, which makes you no better. Now please move on.
  5. I ain't taking swings. Everyone that pulls up next to you at a stop light, with your SS badged regular cab truck, thinks its an SS. So, when they see it on the side of your work for sale, "did you see that "SS" for sale?" Is what they say. They won't know or care that you say it's a clone. They don't know what that means. Shoot, this guy might have gotten dupped and thinks it truly is an SS and can't find another one anywhere like it. So he thinks its super rare. To sum up what I'm saying, yours is NO better, no different, than what this guy is selling. Stop bashing him, cause you don't like me "swinging at you". And to say it out loud, I have an "N" in my vin for a reason!
  6. I get banned to easily. People here don't like me. Oh well just calling it as I see EM. That'd be like me pointing at a fat me And teasing them. (I'm a big dude).
  7. Kettle calling the pot black... I guess I'm just TRUE to my SS name is all...
  8. I find this post EXTREMELY ironic....
  9. No extra padding. Take your time and do it in sections. No need to rush and you MAY get some wrinkles, but you can work them out. Good luck
  10. Whose did I hear? The several I've done. Let me guess your buddy does this stuff at best buy and he's a professional? WoW! And we wonder why our country is failing? Uneducated disrespectful inconsiderate ... I'll stop now before I'm banned... Good luck and don't forget to use OFC cabling and not your Walmart 6 gauge with free DVD and crimpers! Post pics please, this ought to get good!
  11. Lean seats all the way back, tilt all the way down, lower headliner in the front, twist 90 degreaser, pulls right out. Suede right over the factory fabric. Use a GOOD glue! To prep the plastics for paint, or suede, clean them with at least rubbing alcohol to release oils in it from armor all and such. You'll need 60" wide by 72" long for the liner. A little extra for visors and pillars. Fold fabric in half and start in the middle. Work slowly in the way out. 1/4 section at a time. Make sure it lays down. Good luck!!
  12. Have u ever done a blow thru? Ridden in a truck with one? Go ahead, hack that truck up! Oh and when the road noise is too loud to hear yourself think cause the accordion boot seals water but not sound. Buy an escalade or tahoe! Such a waste! Good luck fitting 4 15's back there too! Properly anyway. And don't forget, your gonna need alternators and batteries to supply them amps properly.. Can't wait to see this
  13. Such a BEAUTIFUL TRUCK! Seeing it in person just blew my mind! Nice work
  14. Just remember. Someone's always got more money and a bigger dick. Is it possible? Yes. But, at what expense? And why? He's a douche from what it sounds like, and not worth your time.
  15. That's awesome man! Make sure Krambo locks that tune in, in his signature style and you'll be happier than a two peckered billy goat! Feel Proud man, that's great!!
  16. Flcan is an alca in a different colored retail box. Did u hook up the wind vent and roll up?
  17. The ads Tb is transponder bypass. For those cars with chips in the key and where the lock circuits are still readily available via analog circuits The ads dl is door locks, for cars with data door locks. BUT gm cars this peice will do the pass lock 1,2,3 and 3+ as well The alca is the above modules, in one piece. Some shops only carry this piece, less inventory. I carry all 3. There is a 25$ cost difference in the pieces from Tb to alca. Saves me money that way. The DL is the piece that works perfect with our trucks, and you would waste Money buying the alca, it offers no advantage for you. ;)
  18. John, dont worry, they dont / didnt like me either. thats reason number one that i have been gone for 3 years! LOL. amendment #1 i guess doesnt apply.
  19. I am a DEI man from day one. but i hate their interfaces. you will be perfect with the ADS-DL. as for the flashing cable, I can flash one for you and send it out if you paypal me. this will save you flash cable fees, and I will do it for 50$ shipped. my cost on the thing is 43$ so I aint making much at all, after fees and shipping. as for windows on the remote, the interfaces, neither brand, will do this on our platform of wiring. some cars it works, i have never tried to do it via data interfaces. to do it effectively, I used a DEI 530T module. gives you windows up and down via remote, as well as one touch up and down with your buttons on the doors. you do have to run a heavy gauge power lead to the battery, as our windows are pretty heavy and need the extra current. Last i knew, these modules were few and far between, and DEI has changed to a 529t part number, but you will need 2 of these, as they are one window per, not 2 like the 530T is. good luck and if you want to take my offer, PM me so i see it Thanks!
  20. He's pretty local to me as well. Busy guy, as we all are. I can let him know as well that you're looking for him.
  21. I have went there in the past. I wouldn't got there for an amp with more than 300 watts though. Personally, go to best buy and get a gm side post battery tap. If your battery terminal is extremely tight, put the 5/16 wrench on it and tap it solidly till it comes loose. Cause sooner or later it's going to need to come off, better now than when your in a bind and screwed. Good luck
  22. The dealership in the second one is where I got mine from. Stand up dealership with very nice cars. This truck is PERFECT!!
