I've put one in... One, and that will be the last. Very unreliable and picky. Instructions suck ass and zero support for help along the way.

Rep's. 22 and 24". Just throwing this out there
fast4popper replied to fast4popper's topic in Rims and Rubber
Funny part, I've had my SS for 10 years. And I still have ideas that I'd like to try, to do, to accomplish. Audio systems that would be badass, and I've done quiet a few in these trucks that are all different and unique. Wheels and suspension that are different. Engine setups that are over the top. I don't want to do this to my own truCk. Bit would love to do it to a fellow SS lover such as myself. I love the way mine has evolved, and over te winter I will show more pics as to things that haven't been done. Prime example, my 5.1 audio dashboard I built. So many people wanted one, but NO ONE ever tried to top it. My Hood, never duplicated, just admired. That makes me feel great, but I see opportunities to make it better. I wish others felt as pushed and challenged as I do when it comes to, out doing, others in the car scene. And honestly, wheels are where it starts. We all have badass trucks, make EM better by NOT following the same old wheel trends. -

I'm not saying I don't like the stock wheels. I'm saying, no one thinks outside the box on here. So many options and all the same conclusion. -

Follow the leader... Exactly my point. No one pushes the envelope. Everyone just settles and looks the same. -

Straight up joke. Cause tbss wheels were the craze a little while back and everyone followed -

Far from Hatin'. Just statin! Think outside the box and get TBSS wheels... Oh wait... -
Why? There are soooo many other wheels out there. Better looking, better made, and makes you stand out. Why does everyone buy reps? I looked thru the first 3 pages of this section and that's all I see... Stand out people, customize YOUR ride. Not what everyone else is doin. Ok off my soapbox now. Carry on. ;). I still love ya all!

I have them. Had them for 6 or so years. To be honest, it rides pretty rough. Not bone jarring. Not terrible considering its lowered. Just not stock. Hope this helps

Yeah he is kickin ass on this part of His build

I've never rotated my tires so not a problem I guess.

Ok so I've decided on some billet Bonspeeds. 22x10. I've talked to Brad over there and he can stagger the lip front to rear, about 1/2-1"... Do I do this, or stick with the roughly 3" lip all around? Just looking for some insite and thought. Thanks guys!

Combine Hi and Low beams when on Hi?
fast4popper replied to Arkie's topic in Radio/Electronics/Security
Wet inside the relay. Bad news! If u buried it under the fuse cover you're ok. But out in the engine bay or Behind the lights could be bad -

Had mine on a diode for over 8'years. Never a single blink. Part coast less than a dime. No worries about a relay getting wet under the hood and causing major issues. Relays under hood are a bad bad idea -

It's a diode. Not a resistor. -
No worries Danny. And yeah, pricing is up there...

Rear diff front seal leaking
fast4popper replied to fast4popper's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
Oh, and I have over 70,000 miles on this drop since 2007... So if 45 mins is all it takes to change that 10$ seal, well worth it IMO -

I run the gm performance cover. It is nothing more than a bigger fluid volume cover. I believe it doubles the fluid volume. As for Drop, I'm running the 4" bell tech leaf pack drop. Hope this helps. -
Rear diff front seal leaking
fast4popper replied to fast4popper's topic in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech
So to swap the seal, no need to take differential apart? -
So, after 70,000 miles lowered, my rear differentials front seal is seeping. What's it take to change this seal? And dare I ask, should I do a new set of gears? Locker? ... Thanks!

I've got a phenomenal set of ssbc brakes, oversized rotors and 3 piston calipers... But I don't drive like you do. ;)

Best bang for buck supercharger?
fast4popper replied to twiztidss's topic in Forced Induction and Nitrous
No need to pull the head unit Nikko... You can drain it where it sits without the drain tube attachment. Wife's cheesy Tupperware and a couple paper towels. Done! -
Looking at Bonspeeds. I've discussed a different lip front to rear, he said he can really stagger them about 1/2". So I think I'm going to go as deep as possible all around. How where their wheels?? Worth the $??
