Have you tried some fuel injector cleaner?

As far as I know the steering wheels don't lock. Never did on either of my trucks (04 SS) and (05 VHO)

I havn't tried it or diven a truck with the 3" leafs yet but I have read nothing but good reviews about the 3" leafs from belltech and if you added the 1" shackel and shimed it a touch you should be good to go with a set of belltech shocks (if you can get them)

I bought my replacement pads for my rears well fronts too from baer just because the rears were actually cheaper through baer than chrysler and the pads you get through chrysler need to be shaved a bit (.030") from what Ben at baer told me anyways so I figured it was easier to just get them from baer and install them since I had to order the fronts through them anyways. They now make front pads for the 6 piston setup that are much better than their old pads that the 6 piston setup came with. My last brake job which was just pads cost me $200 which IMO isn't bad at all for the performance I get out of the brakes. Oh and the compliments I get from everyone.

Well being that your awd I would say the best cheapest way for you to get a decent upgrade is larger rotors and the only real benifit your going to see is s.s. lines and the baer eradi speed kit with the 14" rotors and caliper brackets. Other than that you could "try" a set of 2wd 05+ rotors and calipers but then your brake bias will be way off because the truck wasn't designed to have laerger rotors on the front than the rear, so I think you would be dissatisfied with the results and IMO on my 05 2wd VHO the stock brakes were better than my 04 AWD SS but not by much.

hmm I wish I could tell ya but I really never paid attention I would guess 1/4 fine thread but I could be wrong. I wouldn't think they would be any smaller. What are the choices they give you? You could always call baer and have them tell you.

Thats interesting. I would imagine if they say baer on them that baer either sells them or has something to do with them but they might not sell them to the public. Regency could be making these pieces and putting baers name on them under an agreement that they buy a certain amount of rotors and caliper brackets (eradi speed kits) This isn't out of the question and it's something commonly done in the aftermarket industry. We do this at work all the time we will see a product we like and it works well for whatever were using it for so we will make some changes and let that company produce it with our changes and they will put our name on it but there hast to be some sort of agreement because they need to make money too so it usually has to do with quantity. Sometimes products that are relabled will say produced by so and so for so and so. I gaurantee regency isn't making these or labeling these with out baer knowing so I would say give baer a ring.

I am always worried about being the loud one in the neighborhood. When I got back from school (Wyo Tech) my parents had moved while I was out there so I came back to a completely new neighborhood and they were so worried about me pissing off the neighbors with me being loud working on my vehicles and such. At the time I had a 76 F-250 4x4 highboy with a 390, c-6 trans dana 44 front diff and dana 60 rear with the NP205 t-case which was completely gear driven unlike the np203 which had the weak chain drive inside it. So inother words this truck was built from the factory to handle anything you could throw at it. I had rebuilt the engine and installed long tube headers so the first time I got to fire it up was open header and of course I did it at 10pm for the breakin Well the next day I had a bunch of friends over and they all wanted to go for a ride and I was dieing to drive it because the 390 is a torqe monster from the get go let alone being built with 11:1 compression. My dad said hell no were not about to piss off all the neighbors and my friends finally convinced him so we took off and my dad followed in his f-150 with a 5.4 in it. We went down the street and turned around and my dad was behind me and I nailed it and this thing pulled the front wheels off the ground with 35x12" tires and a solid axel up front. My dad was so pissed I did that in the neighborhood. But about two minutes later we had like 3 other neighbors we had never met at the house to check out the truck and say high. Well all of these neighbors are now very good friends with my parents. Anyways what I was getting at is I have already met a few neighbors and the ones right nextdoor have like 4 harleys in the garage and I thought that was kinda odd because they are a very quiet african american family and very nice people. there are some kids across the was (2) 20 year old chicks and (2) 21 year old guys who are in a band and I have heard them get loud from time to time but they seem pretty cool and they know when to be quiet. There for I feel I will fit right in with everyone there.

Yes infact I plan to start getting the garage floor ready for epoxy coating tomorrow. Then once thats done and the washer and dryer are inplace and everything is moved then the florescent lights will go in. My plan is to make the guys across the way from me jelous because they have the black and white chekerboard vinal floor which I had thought about but I dunno how much abuse the vinal tiles can take as far as weight of jacks and stands aswell as chemicals.

It's just over 1000sq ft two bed two bath and a two car garage, we have a decent size balcony with enough room for a bbq. Eveything is upstairs because we are above our own garage so we should really only hear our own noise. Part of the condo as far as the kitchen and the living area are about half over the neighbors garage but that shouldn't be a big deal.

This is the reason I have been posting less recently because I have had a lot on my mind to do with getting this place and getting ready to move into it granted it's only 2 miles from my parents house but kinda startng from scratch as far as the basics go. I will be back in full force once things settle down a bit.

Mt g/f and I decided to try and purchase a condo a couple of months ago and everything finally went through and was finalized today and I got the keys at about 3:30pm this afternoon 1-8-07. We had already purchased blinds so I got those put up this evening. They used to be apartments as (disguisedss) knows because he used to live there but they were bought out completely gutted and remodeld with all new appliances minus refrigerator. all new a/c and heating systems new water heater new carpet granet counter tops in the kitchen, tile in the kitchen, entry way, and bathrooms. I decided when we filled out the papers from the first day that I was gonna add a bit more "flash" to the kitchen and replace all of the white plugs and switches and face plates with stainless face plates and black plugs and switches so I also replaced those this evening and I must say it looks bad a$$. Oue refigerator shows up sometime well this morning now anytime between 8:00am and 12:00pm so I have 4 hrs to wait but thats cool because in the garage (which BTW is a 2 car garage and is connected to the condo) the city made them install a storage cabinet of sorts which I was gonna use and put my 6k$ snapon box in but the way they have the doors I would have to remove the doors to get anything out of the top drawer. So I am going to tear out this cabinet and refinish the wall its against and then have the garage floor epoxy coated either light gray or white. Sorry for the long post guys but this is the biggest purchase of my life and the VHO has never seen a garage in it's life!!! I'll try and get pics ASAP and post them.

This sounds like a problem with lifter to lifter bore clerance. We have had a lot of problems at work with aftermarket parts no matter whos they are they are almost all nearly .002" smaller in diameter than a stock lifter which will increase your clearance and cause the them to be very loud because they will be all over the place in the bore much like a piston with too much clearance. This would also be a huge reason they take so long to pump up especially if you think about how much increased clearance you would have x16. I would say if your going to have a head off you need to find a dial bore gauge so that you can measure the lifter bores compared to the lifters and see how much clearance you actually have. If you don't have a way to check the bores with a dial bore gauge and you know for a fact that the lifters are aftermarket I would say get yourself a stock set of lifters and put them in to see if the noise goes away. If you are running stock lifters right now I would still reccomend checking the clearance. As far as what the clearance should be depends on the lifter manufacturer.

I just recieved this from my mom who works at a bank and has worked there for over 20 years now. Subject: ATM USERS INFO ATM USERS PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW) If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you. This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists. Please pass this along to everyone possible.
