  1. As do I. Monster (blue), the lo-carb one. Tastes great, and only 20 calories. We sell it at work, so I drink probably one per day, sometimes 2. My favorite energy drink, by far. EDIT: I swear there's nicotine in it...it'll get you hooked! - Brian
  2. Nice job, Tim! All that hark work paying off...Congrats! - Brian
  3. It's GREAT.....to be.....a FLORIDA GATOR...!!!! (can you get that chant out of your head yet?) --- I wasn't there, but heard it was NUTS. I have a number of friends still in G'ville. One thing that sucks...after the celebration, at ~2-2:15am...some drunk idiot turned onto University Ave where it was blocked off for all the pedestrians..and hit a cop at ~40mph. The officer flew ~20-something feet before he hit the ground, and is currently in VERY bad condition at the hospital. Then the driver tried to run, made it 4-blocks before being stopped - In that 4 blocks, though...he almost hit 2 motorcycle cops (they ditched the bikes and jumped out of the way). The driver blew a .22X on the breathalyzer...he's a University of North Florida student...and ROYALLY screwed. Here's the article: http://www.gainesville.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a.../LOCAL/70403013 - Brian
  4. Yep...banks (you'd better go with a SOLID business plan...be able to lay it out, and articulate for them exactly what it makes now, and what you'd do to keep it making $$$, etc, etc...). --------- ALSO - More small business purchases are owner financed than you think. Consider this: If the business is $100,000...you borrow $40,000 from the bank as a down payment, and pay the current owner $XXXX per month for 3-5 years. If you agreed on 8% (reasonable right now) and 4 years...you'd owe $60,000...and you'd pay $1465 per month for 48 months. As the owner/seller, he'd want a promissory note...and probably a personal guaranty from you (not you LLC or corp.). If you defaulted, he'd gain control of the business again. But as long as you were in good standing...you OWN it, and can do as you please with the assets, employees, etc... Food for thought - Brian Oh...the benefit to the current owner is that he makes an extra +$10,000 in interest on top of the purchase price...with limited risk. Makes this option attractive. AND it makes it easier for you to do, if the bank's not willing to finance it 100%.
  5. I've rented several times...the HEAVY U-haul car flatbeds. I was towing my 240SX (or a buddies M3)...both cars are +2800lbs...and the U-haul trailers are ~2000lbs...WELL below the SSS's rating at ~7500. The place you went was misinformed. - Brian
  6. ^^^ RevolutionRaceWorks - Is it true you can retune ANY '99-04 PCM for my 2003 SSS? If so, I'd prefer to buy one used, and have the stock one to swap back to...just in case. Let me know, I'm in need. - Brian
  7. I live an hour away...but I only got to Gainesville Raceway for the road course nowadays. ... And I thought "Gator Nationals" was the new name for any SEC tournament the Gators participate in...HAHA. Go Gators! ... Anyway, have fun. - Brian
  8. ^^^ Their website shows $270-ish...is there a "specials page", or do you have a link to the cheaper price??? - Brian
  9. I received a set from "Mr P" as his "Kharma Giveaway"...but have yet to install them. BUT, they are M10 x 1.5 - - - Part number on the box is: '280029ERL' - Brian
  10. That's mostly false (the harmful stuff)...aka "Cokelore". Probably started in an e-mail form Pepsi...hehe. Here's some info from SNOPES: From http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp - Brian
  11. Tony's a cool guy...I was just over there last Friday and we dyno'd my 240SX (338rwhp at 12psi, 2.4liter DOHC motor). Are you local to Orange Park? - Brian
  12. Tim - Congrats! Let me know when you wanna do some "shakedown" runs in it... I need to take my 240SX back to the dragstrip...dyno'd 338rwhp last week (12psi on a 2.4liter)...and I NEED a 12-sec timeslip. - Brian
  13. I would GIVE someone my SSS in trade for an hour with that car, on that track. - Brian
  14. Hahahaha! Awesome, thanks Mr. P...!!! Hopefully I've set a new precedent, and others will use half-naked women in an attempt to win these give-aways...hehe. - Brian
  15. There's an eBay auction going right now for how much someone will pay OVER MSRP to own one...it's up to $11,6XX. Wow. ... Congrats, nice car. - Brian
  16. I'd suggest registering and posting this for sale on the "PWC Today" forums: http://www.pwctoday.com/forums.php ...however, they're gonna kill you on that price. If it were a 1300R, then it's in the ballpark. But it's about $300-400 high for a 800R. (Are you sure you plugged GP800R into NADA? I just did, and it shows $5300...???) ... Sorry for coming into your FS thread and bashing it...I'm just trying to educate so you know realistically what you'll get for it. ... BTW, I own a '00 GP1200R (same hull as yours) and these are AWESOME machines. Too much fun. Yamaha's are the best ones as far as reliability. Good luck with the sale. - Brian
  17. My big hobby...auto racing. I have a turbo'd 240SX (~320-330rwhp after a new exhaust manifold last week) that I run in a few events per months. SCCA autocross and misc. track days, mostly. Nothing "wheel to wheel"...usually against the clock, and when there's several cars on course...passing is either not allowed, or you have to be waived on. Other than that...Jet ski'ing with my wife, shooting (only 2-3 times per year, the range is an hour away), and tinkering with ANYTHING with a motor. Occasionally I get to golf, but I'm by no means a "golfer"...hehe. - Brian
  18. YES, stock fuel. The stock fuel system is fed by the equivalent of TWO (2) Walbro 255 HP pumps...and they have SIXTEEN (16) 40-something pound injectors...STOCK. ...and yes, for high boost and street driving, Joe usually runs +100 octane...but...it's still a +1000rwhp street car! - Brian
  19. Torrie and Joe are both local --> I was there that day when they were racing... Here's a pic, notice the SSS in the background: ... IMV Films does the film work...those guys are good friends of mine from Gainesville, that's how I know the GTTT guys. Joe's car was built by "Stage 6" here in Jacksonville, more info: http://www.stage6motorsports.com/s6_fordgt.html ) Torrie owns "FastPartsNetwork.com"...here's info on his car: http://www.fastpartsnetwork.com/content/view/17/ ... Sorry I haven't shared pics/video/info of these guys on here before...I kinda figured it was a "Ferd"...but I guess any car THAT fast is cool. - Brian
  20. I loooooooove Speed Bleeders...but don't have any for the truck yet. How about a "bribe" pic, to maybe influence your decision...nudge, nudge...wink, wink...! http://girls.autoero.ru/Chevrolet/Jennifer...lverado/001.jpg ^^^ She's thinking..."Brian needs speed bleeders..." - Brian
  21. Most good auto parts stores sell them for $3-5 each. Sometimes Autozone/Discount/PepBoys only sell them in fog light wiring "kits" - I'd stay away form those, they are some off-brand. Buy real Bosch...if it comes to it, find a European parts dealer..they ALL use Bosch in the OEM apps. - Brian
  22. I have the Scorpion ATR's in 275/55-20...and like them a lot. HOWEVER...they are HEAVY as compared to the stock Goodyears. Noticeable as soon as I pulled out of the tire shop...and since then, I have noticed a 1mpg loss in in fuel mileage. Maybe it's b/c I went from the stock, worn-out Goodyears to new tires with tons of tread...but they slowed me down a little. This probably happens with all new tires, since they have so much rubber on them...but that's my review. - Brian
  23. YES... This is what you need to do, then: PIN 30 (to battery + ) PIN 87 (to the fan, positive wire) PIN 85 (to battery + ) PIN 86 (to the cab, run it to the switch...one side of the switch to PIN 86, the other to the ground...so that when you flip the switch, it completes the circuit and turns on the fan...if the key is on or not) ... Basically, pins 86 and 85 are the "switch"...one gets power, one gets grounded...and when the circuits completed, the big amperage can pass across 30 to 87 and power the fan. SO...most of us would have it so that the fan could ONLY turn on if the key were in the ignition...that's why I listed pin 85 as going to a switched wire (above, in my previous reply). ... If you want it to be able to be switched on any time...then just make sure pin 85 get power ALL the time...and run it directly to the battery. You can use 16-gauge wire for 85 and 86, and you switch...they don't carry much current. BUT be sure to use 10 or 12 gauge for the fan power coming off the battery (pin 30) and to the fans (pin 87). - Brian
  24. PLEASE...do it right and use a relay. See here: http://www.classictruckshop.com/clubs/earl...ch/foglites.htm Like that, BUT... Stnadard Bosch relays have numbered pins PIN 30 (to battery + ) PIN 87 (to fan, positive wire) PIN 85 (to any wire thats + when the ignition is on) PIN 86 (to the cab, run it to the switch...one side of the switch to PIN 86, the other to the ground...so that when you flip the switch, it completes the circuit. ... TRUST me...do this right, and let the relay handle the load...NOT the switch. I used four (4) relays on my fans...each fan has 2 speeds, and I used one relay for each speed - Better safe than sorry. - Brian
  25. I'm 1.5hrs North of the carnage...nothing but strong winds and LOTS of rain here. Tim (tawss04) is down in Palatka...but I think that's even far enough north to have avoided damage...hopefully. Tornado's are bad stuff...no real warning. - Brian
