  1. I like to have something that breaks up the color, so to speak. Looks good.
  2. We had a GM engineer in our dealer Thursday with a yellow 6 speed SS making the rounds to show to dealers. It is a sweet car.
  3. Well nuts for t-gate: 11609293 X 5 @ $3.89 eachScrews: 15151978 X 9 @ $4.46 each Screws for side spoilers: 11609989 X 4 @ $3.86 each Nuts for side spoilers: 15685170 X 2 @ $4.86 each.
  4. Lookin' good. There used to be a couple running around town when I was in HS. They're cool cars, because it's something different.
  5. Extended warranty companies suck. They charge a premium for the policy, they're a PITA to deal with, they don't want to pay for anything, and when they do they want a cheap repair. We've had some in our shop for transmissions that have sat here for 2+ weeks, because they buy a used trans. Example: 1st one will be wrong, 2nd will be in worse shape than the original, finally the 3rd will be good, and the whole time they're paying for a rent car. I would make more sense, and be cheaper, to fix it the right the first time and be done with it. See if the dealer will help you deal with these bozos.
  6. They should. The person driving was obviously doing something stupid.
  7. If he has insurance he probably will. Take it to a good shop that will go back with GM sheetmetal. No aftermarket junk.
  8. Suppose to be in the 80s here mid week. I think wash the truck.
  9. That's alot for us. That was than we've had the past 10 years combined.
  10. It doesn't have enough power to turn 24s.
  11. We AWD people don't struggle on snow. A year ago when we had about 4-6" of snow (It lasted a day) the SS handled it flawlessly.
  12. You wouldn't have to worry about parking. Just put it in your pocket, and take it with you.
  13. That would be cool. I'd love to work for a company like that.
  14. So Steve, I take it you like living in Plano. I lived there my whole life till we moved to Denton a couple of years ago. Growing up there it was a small town, but just got too big for me. It is a nice city, though. Lots of opportunities, and I think alot of the cities restrictions keep it clean and nice. The recent economy hasn't really affected the DFW area like it has other areas.
  15. So, there is something to look forward to.
  16. My long distance vision is ok. it's up close that's the big problem. Plus a lazy eye, and astigmatism. I hit my 40s and started falling apart.
  17. Went to the eye doctor this morning, as I finally came to the realization that I need glasses. But bifocals?!
