  1. They said if it was property than i could buy it back but since it is a truck/car and they paid me for it already, it had to go to auction. And i didnt ever get a chance to bid on itbanghead.gif . I should of used a car dealer i knew. but the dealers i know wouldnt of charged me. And i dont like to owe anyone! I watched the Godfather, i seen what happens to people when you owe them favors. LOL. I'm trying to be cool with it all.

Was it Farmers Insurance? They tried to pull that one on me when my GN was stolen years ago, but they had not paid the claim. They just wouldn't give me the option to buy it back. I fought with them, and ended up getting it back.
  2. Welcome back. Great pic too. Truck, vert,SUV, and horse, you've pretty much got it covered :D Need a motorcycle now. :jester:

Never thought I would hear stupid relationships keeping people from doing what they like to do from a girl either :dunno::P

Need to get away from those metrosexuals and find a petrosexual :driving:

:withstupid: You need a real car guy. Glad you're still around.
  3. I haven't been here for a while, because my work installed a new web filter that blocked anything to do with forums, streaming media, ect. The wall is down today, but who knows for how long. So, what have I missed? :D

  4. I travel for a living and ate out 746 times last year. A lot of it being fast food. I will say that In-n-Out sucks ass. Plain, no flavor, tastes like an airline burger. They only have 3 things. single, double, tripple. I didn't think it was possible to make a burger any less appealing than McDonalds does, but I was wrong. krystal burger tastes like grease soaked cardboard in a bun. I'll eat BK, Wendy's, Sonic, Back Yard, Wataburger, Lottaburger, Hardy;s/Carl's JR, most mom & Pop store burgers. I will not go in another In-N-Out. That survey was seriously flawed.
Whataburger is hard to beat around here as far as chain restraunts go. I've heard that In and Out is really good, but we don't have them here. We did hit up a Five Guys in CO on vacation last month. Pretty freakin' good.

I work at a dealership body shop. GM has been charging $50 cores on ALL their aluminum wheels for a while now- I'd say since Jan this year. I just wonder when Dodge & the others are going to start this "recyling plan".

That "core" price isn't something your getting back either. Either you buy a new wheel and give GM the old damaged one back, or the price on that new wheel goes up $50.00

  6. Thanks guys. I'm feeling a bit better, but still feel like I've had my ass whooped. I guess that's what happens when you're a crash test dummy inside your own vehicle. I'm very thankful it happened when, where, and the way it did. Normally I go up another street to get to mine, which alot of evenings there are kids playing basketball, or small children playing. I don't know how I would have handle running over someone especially a child.

AFA the 06' front end and hood, I just don't like that look. No offense to anyone just not a fan. I may try to swing a cowl hood, though.

  7. After it happened, and everything settled down we went to a Carenow. The doctor there ordered a chest xray. That's when he found mild pneumonia. I had been to my doctor twice in the past couple of weeks, but he's in such a hurry with his patients he didn't take any real time for diagnosis. But, that's another story. Time for a new doctor.

    Here's pics of the carnage.

  8. I did a number on it this time. I've been feeling sick the past couple of weeks, and was on my way home last night and went into a coughing fit around the coner from my house. It was so bad that I blacked out. Next thing I knew I was rolling backwards down the street. I stopped, and it took me a second to figure out where I was, and WTF happened. Long story short I went up in someones yard, and hit their railroad ties that support their fence. FUBARed the front of my truck. I'll post pictures after the camera is charged up.

What caused it is I have a slight case of pneumonia. Family and neighbors convinced me I needed to get checked out.
