I think I might just go with a Transgo HD-2C kit, Vette 2nd, and 4th billet servo. I just do not want 2nd gear banging, but I want it to shift good and crisp. Especially under hard accelleration.

I'm wanting to know the same. Just when I think I know what I want to do something changes. I was leaning toward the Zippy Kit w/billet 2nd, 4th servos, and a good cooler.

Diameter, but I'm sure the bolt pattern changed slightly. As far as I know the ring gears wont interchange. Alot of the bearings (carrier, pinion) are the same. There should ba a law against that.

I thought the same thing till I saw a video of them actually driving. Sounded like a swarm of bumble bees. You could really go nuts with a Sawzall over there.

99 OBS and older were 8.5. NBS 99 and newer are 8.625. 2005 SS and VHO went to a 9.5" 14 bolt rear.

The 65E is just a slightly stronger vesion of the 60E.

That's what I went with when I replaced the GYs. Actually, I think they look better, but besides that, they are a much nicer tire. It's been right at a year, and I'm still very happy.
