  1. I love the smell of C12. Sweet. I ran that stuff in my GTO years ago, and it ran killer with it. Completely different set up, I know. Another thing to consider in this argument is the camshaft. Some grinds will bleed off cylinder pressure allowing for a little more timing.
  2. That does look good. I've been thinking about doing the SS cluster in my wife's Tahoe.
  3. Theresa Earnhadt's signature doesn't mean jack shit to me.
  4. Or a big ass mean f'n dog. I understand what you're going through. Been there done that. Twice. If/when they recover it you don't want it back. Gather up all your receipt to show what you have in it when you're ready to settle, and hopefully they will settle for what you need. Sorry to hear it.
  5. Yep, forged. Gotta have forged. I'm anxious to see what it'll do with a good tune. I may actually run mine to get a good stock baseline. I want to get tuning software to log and tune myself.
  6. Whatever they call it, it's the fugliest freakin' thing I've ever seen.
  7. All kidding aside, the trike is pretty cool. Not something you see anymore. I'm sure you could find/build some kind of adapter for a car seat.
  8. It all depends on what youwant, and what's on the market. If there is a quality rotating assembly that gets you the desired results, (CID, compression ratio) then that's a good way to go. If not, then build by components. I usually do it by components, because I always pick oddball set ups (Pontiac, Buick). Either way would be fine, just don't sacrifice quality for price, and use a competent machine shop.
  9. They need to have the car removed from their possesion. They're obviously not responsible enough to handle a classic G-body propperly. Who in the f*&k puts nerf bars on a car.
  10. Sounds like it's a full manual valve body. No clutch pedal needed. You have to manually shift it all the time. It's more of a full race set up.
  11. Needs a bell. BRRRRING BRRRRING. J/K.
  12. Sounds to me like a regulator problem. Maybe stuck closed not letting fuel return, causing a higher than normal FP. If I'm reading it right your AFR was at 9:1, and you're getting bad milage, so that's my guess.
  13. I think the 6L80E has It's own control module (TCM) that is seperate from the PCM. It's been talked about before, but if it would/could come together. Only down side is the first gear with 4.10s would be a killer. Figures out to like 16.4:1 in first.
  14. It's a freak accident. May never happen again. Pretty wild, though.
  15. Not real complex, but very time consuming. Measure 5-6 times, cut once. Then finding/making new glass to fit. It would take some serious skillz to do it, and it would look good, but I don't think I would do it.
  16. Post a sound clip of the exhaust. I'm thinking of running those. Welcome back, btw.
  17. You have good taste my friend. That's my favorite beer.
  18. Yea. I think they're still in last place.
  19. I don't consider the Ridgeline a truck. Anything that is FWD, unibody, with a V6 is NOT a truck.
