  1. I saw his work on his TBSS, and SSwrecker's truck this past weekend. He does some nice work.
  2. Good pics, Steve. Keller's is definitely a happening place for an enthusiast.
  3. I'm going to go knock the dirt off mine. Had to stay home because of a sick kid, so when mama gets home it'll be time for daddy to go play. See you all there.
  4. Yep. It doesn't have a cover, so there's nothing to "girdle".
  5. Have fun, man. Definitely post pics.
  6. I'm on the definite side now. I've been waiting to see about my grandfather before commiting. I may bring the whole family, or at least one of the kids, or just me.
  7. I also don't believe the commercial where they drop a cargo container off of a cliff, and the Toyota pulls it back up. Drop a 10K pound weight off a cliff and not take a 5K pound truck with it when the slack is taken up.
  8. I had a bug deflector on my last 2 trucks. Both were there when I bought them. Didn't do a thing to deflect bug, so they went bye bye.
  9. 'Round here we call em' wreckin' yards. Bad Bowtie's comment I'm not sure about. It is an ambient temp sensor, though.
  10. 3/4 ton Suburban 6.0 is 352HP @ 5400, 383TQ @4300. 8.1 I believe was 345HP and 455TQ. You may lose a little comparing stock to stock, but do a few mods to it and you're right there with it. Plus, better fuel economy.
  11. Part number on sensor that you're probably missing.
  12. I get the Jack in the Box ones every once in a while.
  13. Try putting the fob under your chin, and hold your left arm in the air while standing on one foot. You gotta hold your mouth right, too.
  14. The main thing it will hurt is if it is leaded fuel. Most race gas (110+) is leaded. Like Mr.P stated in his earlier post it does burn slower, so that can put more fuel in the exhaust. It's best in our trucks to mix it to achieve a mid 90s octane rating unleaded. P.S. This is for the street driven trucks in areas that care about emissions.
