  1. Would this be the correct link ? Regards, Dan
  2. I'm looking for some upgrade options for an 07 Silverado if and when I buy one. The first place I intend to start is the front skirt. Here's one example of what I'm looking for but I'm interested in other styles if anyone has any other examples to offer. Sport Truck Direct Regards, Dan
  3. I have a set of SVO's for sale if you're interested. Regards, Dan
  4. SVO 42lb injectors. These are the green top variety that flow 49lbs in our trucks. They come with the pigtail adapters as well. I purchased these from Zippy about six months ago and never used them. Asking $300+shipping Regards, Dan
  5. This picture isn't perfectly clear but I think it serves the purpose. A careless brother-in-law recently dented my passenger side door. I've heard of 'paintless dent removal' where they suction dents out. Does anyone have any suggestion on the best way to remove this unsightly door ding? Regards, Dan
  6. Just like a few other members on this forum my truck upgrades are not proceeding as I planned. As a result I'm selling my HpTuners Pro c/w Enhanced I/O Interface. I originally bought this from Scott Hawley on PT.net with 6 out of 8 credits remaining and that's exactly how it sits. Asking $500+shipping Regards, Dan
  7. Street racing is definitely an unsafe practice that costs lives but I always cringe when police are given the power to impound a vehicle for a 'suspected' activity. Plus here in the great white north NOS is illegal but you can put out 1500hp with a super or turbocharger. More misguided laws? Here's the newspaper article: $10,000 Street Racing Fines Regards, Dan
  8. On a positive note. Here's a book recommended by my school district. Secrets of Discipline: 12 Keys for Raising Responsible Children Regards, Dan
  9. It's not for me. it's for a friend who's having issues with his teenager and can't understand why. Perhaps the word poignant is a better choice. Mr. P. I often find that something with alittle humour and is very poignant works! Do you have anything? Regards, Dan P.S. To make my point perfectly clear.....................
  10. Those those of you that have or have had teenagers do have anything nice and sarcastic on parental rights that I can pass along to a friend's teenager? I thought this would be appropriate since most spoiled rotten kids like to go on about their rights. Regards, Dan
  11. I getting ready to install my TB TC in a few weeks and after doing some reading here I'm trying to draw up a list of parts needed and what to watch for. Thanks to Krambo I think everything is about covered in his quote below except a few things I'm not quite clear on. Is #1 the tranny dipstick or the oil dipstick? Do I need a gasket for the transfer case? Anything else to watch for? Regards, Dan
  12. Here's a good one for you from north of the border. In Canada, street racing is now a criminal offence. Now one little race with your buddies as a teenager and you are screwed for life. No one here cares what it's for as long as you have a criminal record. Regards, Dan
  13. Personally, I would prefer one of these Solstice/Sky's instead. Regards, Dan
  14. I'm very happy with my PCMForLess tune. But, if I go to a Radix I'm switching to Zippy. Regards, Dan
  15. We only had a few seconds to chat at the next light before going our separate ways. If I didn't have an appointment I might have suggested pulling over for a chat. Regards, Dan P.S. Red SS's or any SS's are very scarce around here!
  16. First, this was more of a test than an intentional kill. I was on my way to an appointment in the city one day when from a sideroad on the outskirts of town appears another SS. I had a close look as I passed by and it appeared to be the same year, colour, factory tonneau and all the same stuff as mine. Well, as soon as he pulled out of the sideroad in behind me on the highway I was hoping to get a chance for a little run. Our route into the city is fairly straight countryish roads with stoplights every few miles so I tried to tailor my speed so the lights would change in our favour. Well, it did't take long before we were side by side at a red on a nice two lane stretch of road. As soon as we got green it was no contest. It brang back not so fond memories of how sluggish and detuned my truck felt stock. We ran up to about 100mph where I'd say I had at least 7-8 trucks lengths on him, not to forget his mph limiter would be kicking in by then. It was a nice little informal test that confirmed by suspicions that all my mods to date was money well spent. Not long after that were closer to being in the city with more traffic and at another stoplight when he rolled down his window and said, "Wow!". He said that he and his buddy were trying to figure out what I had. I told them not to worry that I was far from stock and then said have a nice day and away we went. As alittle sidenote, the most frequent comment I get from people who know nothing about trucks etc. is how cool my Corsa exhaust sounds. The Corsa exhaust is not the greastest power adder you can buy but for me it certainly gets the most positive comments. Regards, Dan
  17. From the Thunder Racing website...... 99-TR-BLOWR-CAM Thunder Racing Custom "Blower" Camshaft - 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA. Off Idle-6800 RPM Power Band. Broad power range. Decreased valve overlap for forced induction applications. Stock like idle. Minor tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Double valve springs and titanium retainers required for this cam. Another option to the GT2-3? Regards, Dan
  18. HPTuners just answered a similar question for me by saying. Hopefully, this will list your serial number as well. Regards, Dan
  19. I came across this complete set of brake rotors on Ebay. Has anyone heard of this supplier or tried these rotors? Regards, Dan
  20. Pouring rain here today so I'm killing some time looking around for a new set of 22s. As you can see below I prefer an open style of wheel. Here are my choices and comments. American Eagle 026. I've seen these here and they have some traditional good looks. American Racing Matrix. I've seen these in a local shop. American Racing Prism. Extrusions prone to curb rash? Avenue A522. Nice looking but some tight areas to keep clean? Giovanna Genoa. I've seen these here as well and really like them but I don't think they're available anymore. Regards, Dan
  21. I'm running the GT2-3 N/A right now and I'm very happy. Idle is stock-like and it pulls well. Regards, Dan
