I am not that good of a rider to go to a truck meet and bring my bike. It may actually look like I know what I am doing but really I have no clue on tracks. Still getting back into it after my rm80 days 15yrs ago!! Who know I might make the trip, depends on funds and all that good stuff. Buying a DD tomorrow hopefully if the guy ever gets back to me then I figure out everything from there.

I went with a NAPA brand, I forget the model but it was a higher end one, Some compare it to the optima's but hell if I would know. Its been working out fine since.

just get a new battery, that stocker is junk anyhow and I guarantee that is the cause. Esp here in AZ batteries will just die for some reason, at least it sounds like its warning you first.

with all the weight in your bed is it compressing the rear suspension enough that it is making you front end light. The weight was balanced enough so the front was prob walking a little on you.

if its going in a 02 then yes you will have to re-work the dash and custom make the mounting.

if you have an 06 silvy it will drop pretty much right in, normally you need to cut a little bit of the plastic away towards the back to make it fit completely in.

I made the trip to speedworld to hit the MX track up once and said I wouldn't make that drive again, ha. Haven't been to firebird on a fri night but have heard it gets a lil busy, but firebird is near some decent spots to have a drink at afterwards.

If the PCM has been in the truck for a while I highly doubt it is a relearn procedure that is needed. If the truck is breaking up around 4k RPM's something is out of whack, fuel, spark, who knows. Maybe the PCM just took a dump completely, most likely they will re-flash your PCM losing the Tune on there and go from there with a fresh factory tune. Do you have a spare PCM to throw in and see if it solves the problem before you have the dealer messing with more stuff to at least eliminate whether or not its the PCM?

What bracket is it? I can't find a pic of that P# but when I replaced all the brackets after my accident I don't remember any for the bumper being over $25

Trust me, I have been working in my garage for the past few weeks and I will be standing there and it will arm itself like someone bumped it. It seems to only actually go off when I'm in the house. It has to be interference somewhere but what or where is the question. I can think of anything else.

Yup the battery is pretty new, maybe a couple months so I would think its in good shape. You know, unless those little punks are extremely fast I don't think its kids. As soon as I hear the alarm I run out there hoping to see someone running or something but nothing. At first I thought it might of been the previous owners kids of my house but I don't think thats the case.

occasionally there is a cat here and there but unless they are falling from the top of the 40ft palm tree out front I doubt they are the problem. The shock sensor on my truck isn't real sensitive, I have it set so it take a decent thump for it to go off. I had issues in the past with setting way to sensitive and this seems to be just right where its at now.

For some reason my friggin alarm has been going off almost once a night. It is an aftermarket Python alarm and I never have any issues with it anywhere else except in my driveway. At first I thought it might be the punk kids down the street bumping their systems as they go by but that turned out to not be the case. At times I will hear it beeping like someone possibly bumped it then it wont do anything, other times it just goes off. This only happens in my driveway, no where else. To top it off the sensor isn't even set that sensitive. Any ideas? Could a garage door opener from someones house near by crossing signals as its opening or something causing the alarm to go into panic mode?

There is a 01 S10 semi local to me for a pretty cheap price. I have been wanting to park the truck for some time now so its stays clean and the AZ sun doesn't keep beating on the paint. I have been entertaining all sorts of rides from another silvy, mustang, camaro, etc. I came across a 01 s10 with 76k on the clock, single cab basic package, 4cyc 5sp and its bagged. Guy want 3k for it but I think I can squeeze it down to $2500. I figured it could be my DD for now and I can work on it over time. What you guys think of the price? The AC doesn't work right now as well, guy says its just blowing warm, he thinks because the truck has been sitting for a while it might need a charge. Figured I would get some opinions.

Chances are things will not change. I just went through this with a very close friend of mine who I let live with me in my house. We had lived together in the past at college and 2yrs here in AZ and that was just renting a house and I knew it was going to be trouble letting him live in MY HOUSE. He lasted about 2months before the shit really hit the fan. Every day it was reminding him to do something which he would never do. We would constantly find empty beer cans, soda cans, dishes, cups etc sitting behind either downstairs or in his room. Every time we had the "GET YOUR SH!T STRAIGHT" talk it was him telling us he was sorry and he will do his best. Well his best was losing his job I got him, falling behind two months on rent and bills and deciding he was going to lie about everything. A grown man should not be flat ass broke when working a full time job making 40k and has minimal bills. He told us he had a new job and would disappear everyday, found out he worked a new job for 3 days out of a 2 week span, he totaled his car and when it finally came down to him coming clean, he decide to Houdini me and split at 3am to the airport with his dog and head back East. He was once a good friend that took advantage of me and now I have my lawyer getting the paper work together for the money he owes in rent and utilities. I prob would of let it go if he didn't pull this stunt. Moral of the story, kick his ass out because chances are its only going to get worse and really get under your skin. You may think you have "IT" under control now but trust me, its itching to get out and cut loose! Hes a grown man at 28, sounds like a reality is in check. Sorry Wody
