  5. Hey guy's just wondering what big brake kits you guys are running and what you think about them? Do they work with drop spindels (mcghauy). I'm considering getting wilwoods if they work with my set up, so i thought i'd ask the best people i could think of before i call tbyurne in the morning. I want a kit for the front and rear, some kits i've heard of only make a set for the front.
  6. I saw an ad for that in the paper this morning, too bad i've allready got plans to go to the DUB car show in chicago.
  7. I was just thinking about this topic today. Ever since i got the 24s mine just keeps getting worse. Do you guys think it's just the shaft again, Iv'e had mine replaced twice, with this one lasting probly 20000 miles or so. Feels like the same clunk or thud as before. Could it be ball joints? any one had to replace those?
  8. What's up local iowa SSr. Hope you like your SS. good choice!
  9. My brother has been there several times, from what it sounds, they drive like freekin maniacs down some narrow ass roads. Sounds fun, not.
  10. Any other acrylic based waxes out there that can be had from a store? Good info guy's, thanks.
  11. Well i've always heard better late then never, so......................You said i wouldn't be happy untill i cut out the inside of my fender to accomodate my oversized wheel and tire combo (badass by the way ), so i took the cut off wheel and some masking tape to outline where my destruction would start and end, Put on the face shield and fired up the air compressor and started cutting. I know you were talking about the plastic part of the fender but i thought about what you said, and now my tires don't use the tops of the front fenders as bump stops any more and aren't getting chewed up. It all actually turned out really nice, I cut the top part of the fender just iside the lip back about 4" and about the length of the flat part of the fender as you look at it straight on from the side of the truck, Finnessed the sharp edges with my trusty, nail pounding estwing and sanded them smooth. I was also asking members on here about rolling the inner fender lip(the inside part of the outer skin) and with all your posts i was able to pull off fender rolling, Quite fricken beiutifully i have to add. But this time i used a block of oak trim board and once again the trusty estwing and carefully massaged the metal around to a nice curve. It turned out really smooth. The fender seems stiffer then before even. Well everybody off the site thought i was crazy for wanting to do this(probobly some on too) but now i'm rolling the wheels and tires i wanted and it sets as low as i wanted. All though my fast and furious days are through, except in the straights with this set up i think all turned out well . ...........Except for that dang mcgoofy drop kit (can i still say that ). Anyways, Thanks mr.p and everybody else for your advice, and opinions.
  12. To the best of my knowledge the lights that are in the gauge cluster are an led type of light that are solderd in, maybe pushed in, but they are small and replacable.
