Theres some good how-tos on how to do the led swap, i think there's one in the pics and videos section I think. I bought everything off e-bay, needed about 50 leds to do the whole truck, and 470ohm resistors as well. The smd type leds work best, I used 800mcd plcc-2 Blue SMD LEDs.

Then you need to stop and get the right parts. The harness you bought didn't have a package or part #?

Which adapter?

Need more info... which interface? Bose? Red ignition hooked to what?

Apple vs. Android = Beta vs. VHS Android is the #1 platform for a reason.

I hear ya. I run focals but I got them for free. I wish we sold alpine at my work, I haven't be able to play with the newer stuff. It's always been my favorite. That processor looks like it'll be really cool. you'll have to let us know how it is. I was asking about the backup camera cuz I haven't decided on one yet. there's a company that makes one built in the tailgate handle that looks nice and that's a better placement for a camera anyway...looking down on the bumper instead of level with it. but its not cheap but a good camera isn't cheap anyway. edited: I'm not a huge fan of bi-amping separates myself. I find you end up with too much power to the tweeter and not enough for the driver. If you were to bridge a 4 channel amp down to 2, you'll triple or quadruple the power that the woofer gets. I like the sound of a nice overdriven component set. I've just never had much luck with amp crossovers I guess. You need a nice processor/crossover/eq to get it to sound right. Did you dynamat the hell out of the doors?

Looks great. Some questions... what bu cam? Also what speakers?
-
New install or have you run that a while. Are you running 4ch of the amp or are you bridged to 2ch? Rewire the subs in series.

I run the xk01 expresskit module in mine, rolls the front windows up on a aux. Of course that is made by dei.... Doh.

Hey Paul, the logo is just about done. Just a final polish and we'll have to get together so I can put it on the box. What do ya think?

The switches that I buy have both normally closed and normally open contacts on them. So you can use one like that. Or if you had a Compustar, it comes with a closed loop sensor built in, so you can use anything. Much better then other crappy brands like Viper that you have to buy a hundred dollar module to make it work. I just wanted to slam DEI.

I use magnetic switches for tailgates and stuff. You should be able to get them anywhere they sell home alarms.
-
I need one too. Dave, I found one close to you. We should talk, if you don't pick up this one.

Can you imagine how good that would have sounded with a real deck? JK I remember putting a few of those in and ya they sounded pretty nice, especially for the price. I've heard better, but everything else was alot more money. But I don't remember them putting out anything good since then. -
Car Audio ones... 6x9 hole saw. box of ohms. db's

well my spare hasn't ever been down, and after 8 years of Canadian winter roads and salt... Can you detail rust?

It's accually the metal of the roof that interferes with the starter radio signal. Sure the tint can't help, but the metal will turn the range into poo. You can make a 1/4 mile starter only have 50 feet of range if the antenna is too close to the metal. Ask me how i know. When it comes to antenna placement...always on the right side against the mirror , so the driver doesn't see it, down low probably at least 8 inches below the top of the windshield. And I run the cable inside the factory mirror wire cover. You shouldn't see anything from the drivers seat. But thats just my opinion. Oh ya and DEI blows goats.

Above the glovebox. Squeeze the sizes of the glovebox so that it will open up farther and you will see it.
