I have a diehard platinum battery right now. I may go ahead and look into adding a second if it does not help after I do the big 3 upgrade.

BLNAWAY thats looks like mine with the 105 amp but know with the 145 it is not dropping as much. I am going to do the "big 3" upgrade and if that does not help I will probably add a capacitor.

Since I have installed my new head unit I went ahead and installed a new 145amp alternator. I have eleelectric fans and a small system 500/1 amp and JL stealth box 10". After upgrading the alt i am getting 12-13 volts at idle with ac, stereo, lights, etc on I am still getting dimming light when the bass hit and volts are dropping to around 11. Should this be addressed with a capacitor? If so what type should I look into?

TampaVmax thanks for the help got everything programmed the way I want it and the system sounds great. If I would have known this would make my JL sub sound this good I would done it a long time ago.

Thanks that was it I must have overlooked that on my install. Now I am fighting with the steering wheel controls. I got everything wired up and programming it is becoming a PIA. stereo just keeps going to the max volume setting by itself.

I only have to work a couple hours tomorrow so when I get home I will try that and post if it helped or not.

I must have overlooked that adjustment when doing the install. Yes it has less volume with more distortion.

I just installed the pioneer avph4400dvd head unit and finally got everything working but sound quality sucks. My stock head unit sounded much better. Is it possible that the new head unit is over powering the stock bose speakers? With the stock head unit I could max the volume with no distortion now with the pioneer unit it sounds. like crap with the volume maxed. I have infinitely adjusted the equalizer it still. sound awful. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what "cable c" is. This has a harness that connects into the factory amplifier and also has the rca cable input to add an aftermarket amp.

I do not have rca cable going to the head unit. My rca are connected under the console to the Pac interface I used to connect my amp into the existing bose amp. I will try running the ground wires directly to the chassis ground. Know that I think about I guess I don't need the pac interface for my amp to bose system since I now have an aftermarket head unit. I should just run the rca's from my amp straight to the rca hookup on the new head unit.

I just connected the ground into the into the harness as the directions called for. Do I need to add the relay as the instructions call for when installing on a 05 or newer corvette.

It seems like the buzzing sound is only coming from the driver side door speaker. Ot goes away when you close the door so the chime turns off but comes back when you tuen the radio on.

Maybe I should have checked reviews first but I just installed a new Pioneer avhp4400 and I am getting a buzzing sound in my speakers. I soldered everything and my grounds are good could this just be a quality issue with the adapter. This is going to suck because I am not sure if I will be able to return it know that I have already used it. I bought it all from Amazon.

The plastic pieces can be painted with SEM paint the color would be called "very dark pewter". It will match the rest of your interior perfectly.

Are you sure you need a module? I was having issues with my heated seats and the dealer replaced the module and. That did not fix the problem. It ended up being the actual heating element in the seat. When the took my seat apart the it looked like the element caught fire it was completely black and burnt.

Wha is the cost on the tbss wheels?

Fab up some catch cans with the ss logo on them i would buy one.

I also think the smaller logo looks better.

Super glue is what i was thinking but i was not sure.

Anyone know how to repair this or should i take it to an upholstery shop.
