  5. Thanks Mike! I am currently stuck at the airport my flight got delayed some crap about a mandiory rest for the crew.. I told them to let me fly but they said something about my driving related to flying.. I duno can a plane do a burnout?
  6. Myself or zippy can get a tune to you the tune itself is 150 plus shipping back and forth for the pcm unless it is done onsite. Typical turn around without express shipping is 2-3 days from me. I can get them done overnight for about 30-40 bucks in overnight shipping through fed ex.
  7. I have been away a bit. Mostly because I have been in the process of moving. Besides that working on the truck. What I will say the pro's and con's some guys were pretty good allot of good info. Allot of opinions as well. The hard facts are supporting the procharger kit. Air to air intercooler. Faster heat transfer than anything else out there. The only reason the air to water in the vortech kit excels is the ability to load it down with ice water at the track and get super low IAT's under boost. The best you can do with a procharger is ice the air to air exchanger or spray nitrous on it at the track to drop the temps.. Vortech you can use ice water. Mind you.. simple chemistry.. it takes longer for water to transfer temperature than air. So once the water heat soaks it definitely will hold the heat twice as long if not longer than the air to air intercooler. There for in a hot lap race a 3 core intercooler back to back to back versus a air to water, without ice.. its pretty simple what it is going to happen. Self contained oiling.. if anyone were to complain about changing your oil every 3-6000 miles I would definitely say that performance automotive is definitely not for you. If you want something you don't have to maintain ride a bicycle and every time it breaks buy a new one. The self contained oiling system is far superior to both vortech and magnacharger. Reason being. The rotating assembly internally retains much less heat allowing the blowers to be run longer hours with less internal wear. Also procharger has proven in a magazine article using independent testing the oil temperatures from the SC blower versus a pan fed system are dramatically different. The Pan fed oil is much higher in temps than the SC blower. As far as belt maintenance.. I really think changing a belt on a maggie with a engine driven fan is more of a pain in the ass than changing a procharger belt. Yeah it takes a little more effort but you have to take the good with the bad. Overall performance. The bottom line is alot of the procharger guys in general that do have their kits are not really running around telling everyone they have what they do. It's not for lack of performance it's simply just a different crowd of people. Magnacharger cornered the market with their kit when it came out but if you notice this.. it was also the first kit to truly show its limitations on trucks with more mods than a blower. The Magnacharger ran out of steam first. It's not an inferior blower but.. it does not offer the higher ceiling the centrifugal's do. With Magna you have the option of moving up to the 122H kit now which promises some serious performance increases over the 112. Vortech offers larger headunits. Procharger offers larger head units.. they even offer one capable of supporting over 1500 horsepower without really making a ton of underhood changes to your brackets. Without a good supporting vendor in the SS community I think procharger has lacked support and lacked proof. The more important thing is procharger does not sell though just anyone. Ati specifically chooses their dealers by their reputation support and ability with the product. You can't just call summit and order a procharger. Furthermore you can't be some guy selling parts on ebay and try and get procharger and sell it. They are firm in making sure their dealers strongly support the customers and provide as much as they can for them to meet their needs. But with the ebay generation working a number on the performance parts industry... its following suit fast. As for my truck.. There should be some numbers coming in the next 3-4 weeks hopefully including track times. Just have been so tied up with moving halfway accross the country it's been tough.
  8. Tune it first off.. second off see what kind of power diffrence there is.. Comp cams come with an etching on the back of the cam with both the production date and grind. I have used several cams in the last few months alone and they all have the same markings I will try and get pics on wed when I reinstall mine. I think maybe you just under cammed yourself thats not entirely that impressive of a cam spec.. beyond that.. Tuning can make the idle more choppy if you want it that way its about the power.. not the idle. my .02
  9. Parish's truck is badass.. But yeah.. my s10 whups up on the VHO right now.. and the S10 has no engine.. oh wait.. neither does the VHO

  14. Defintely more info on your setup would be a great help but it sounds like a boost leak to me. Even off idle my D1 made 6 psi at 2600 with the 3 core IC setup and a 4.0 pulley. So if you could get us info on your setup that would be a great help in anyone sending you advice.
  15. Thanks guys. I want everyone to know I have not went out of buisness. Just changing locations and at this time not sponsoring SS but you can still get ahold of me the same way!
