  1. you can have both marine.. but they both cost that green stuff heh
  2. For anyone that wants the SS starup screen and wants a set of them let me know. I just got aeroforce as a product. I installed a pair.. two gauges 4 display's total in Brad's truck last week and he has the starup screen I have to ask him to take some daytime pics of the install I only have them from a night run. If he is asking 300 for a single gauge that is really high.. the single gauge displays 2 fields of information. 2 gauges display 4 fields. The retail on a single is 229.99 pairs retail at 399 I am going to throw up a thread about them later tonight I am just super busy now hope that helped everyone.
  3. Go ahead and drop me a PM The Gp isn't happening but I can work with you on this.
  4. lookin good.. you have a good assistant there hah.
  5. Thanks everyone. I haven't been around last couple days night before..monday night on the way back from taking brad's truck back to him with the new heads and cam.. I got hit in my tahoe. Guy took off turned into a mess. The tahoe has about 3000 in damage to the passenger side. I am okay but I didn't do much tuesday I was a bit sore and pissed off it wasn't a good way to start a birthday. Thanks everyone for remembering!
  6. First off.. heads are a good swap. I just did a set for shadowsniper last week the TEA stage 2.5's with a custom grind cam from me. The truck makes pretty good power he does need a looser converter right now hes stalling around 2300. But I think going over 3000 is way too much stall for your truck unless your only intent is to take it to the track. 3600 will feel extremly slushy on the street and you will see high tranny temps without doing some other upgrades to the trans. If you get me flow numbers on the heads and your ultimate goal with the truck I can make a cam recomendation. My custom grinds run about 450 to your door.
  7. Had to wrap it up due to lack of serious buyers. I had the guys at Belanger waiting and I can't ask them to wait for such a long time to get commited customers. Sorry guys.
  8. How many miles are on the truck now I will try and kick around some numbers for you next week.
  9. Its Flir hah I love the vid. I had to turn in my Flir sadly when I quit where I was
  10. Honestly.. every little bit helps.. you can always have the pcm re tweaked once you get it tuned its just a madder of giving you another tuneup for your next mods. The stock exhaust on our trucks is pretty darn decent to start with so if its a matter of saving up to get it.. save your pennies man. What CAI are you looking into?
  11. But.. you guys are contesting what belanger advertises. You have to understand something outside the forum there is a whole world of people who know nothing about PCM tuning whatsoever. There are still people out there that don't know that you can tune a computer to help the trucks with performance. I can't even tell you begin to tell you how many people I have crossed paths with that have no clue. Alot of companies choose the way they advertise wisely. Think about this for a second.. some guy who knows nothing about tuning wants a set of long tubes for the power and sound. Well.... pacesetter sounds great what if you buy a set of headers and throw em on and bingo reduced power mode and cat eff codes. WTF did I do? well.. if you buy a set of Belangers.. and do not tune your truck you will still be able to run your truck without the fear of reduced power or eff. codes. That is the selling point. Tuning is necessary to someone who knows what it is. John q. hotrodder might not have a clue what PCM tuning is. And there is still a very large majority of people out there who fear pcm tuning. There is a whole thread on headers I am hoping the mods actually take this information over there..
  12. What code are other brand headers supposedly throwing? That thing is a p.o.s. If you want to replace your trans in the next few months then its a wise investment.. haha.. Seriously get yourself a tune from someone anyone but dont waste your money on that. Anything that taps into the trans signals and modifies or diverts them is not good for overall performance of the transmission I just dealt with a guy that someone raised his linepressure though the ceiling for hard shifts now he is going to be repairing his transmission and it might not be cheap.
  13. Pacesetter without tuning. Its not supposedly, I can show you logs from 2 trucks locally. Have been found to throw codes for for cat efficency and performance. You can and it has been done.. put on a set of Belangers and not throw a code. If you put on pacesetters retain your stock cats and head pipes and or any other long tube header you may throw a reduced power mode and or po140 for 02 sensor performance. Po161 also perfomance. It's not total bullspit I have seen it twice in the last month. Local guys doing pacesetters and merging them to their stock exhaust without a tune.
  14. Pm's sent and as far as I know 1 3/4 primaries and 3" collectors. HPT still waiting on them to give me a reply
  15. a wet shot.. you shouldn't need more injector unless you are supporting other mods
  16. Very simmilar.. but the aeroforce gauges.. that I now can get for the SS members.. they have a neat little starup screen programmed with the SS logo when you start your truck. I am attaching a pic
  17. my .02. No matter what tuner you are working with.. they are going to need this product to be able to read your logs. The software is specific per the item... so it not like sending an hp tuners log to an hp tuner using guy. You can get 2 aeroforce gauges for roughly the same price and have the SS at start up and have it match the oem gauges and they fit in standard 2" pods
