  2. No I think its the washington bridge. I talked to carl he said it's the " safe" way
  3. Rollin out tonight. Anyone else wants to come out please drop me a PM or give me a ring.
  4. Just tunes at this point. I think if parts are needed.. we can get ahold of zippy and see what is available to bring with. As far as on site doing tranny work I don't think we will have any available resources for that at this point. But if you need the parts I think we can ask zip and see what he can bring out with us.
  5. Between that.. and the tornado.. you should eeeeeeeeeasily see like mid to low 18 second quarter mile times in a civic festiva edition
  6. Actually working out the routes right now trying to get with my guy in NY here and find out what options I have of getting To long island with the trailer without having to go though too much traffic and shit 26 foot of trailer isn't that bad we have a 32 foot as well its just the fact it is alot of truck going to NYC area where mostly everyone is tooling around in cars.
  7. Great advice from P. This couldn't hit closer to home for me my mom just left my dad after nearly 30 years just pretty much woke up one day and said see you later. Today. Ironically enough after seeing this thread.. at 9 am the divoirce was finalised. They were married 28 years together for 31. Her divorced friends defintely pushed her right out the door I know that for a fact. Keep your head up brother. I am doing what I can to try and keep my dad on task and out of the slump. So I know where you are at. As far as the hood goes I am defintely intrested. I just have to get back from NY this weekend and see what kind of green I have when I return. Please drop me a PM if you end up selling it otherwise I am going to try and start putting some cash on the side here for it. Keep your head high.
  8. So far it looks like about 10-12 tunes but hoping to score some more gas is friggin expensive.. and the west coast is coming up next.. I have to go back to vegas to tune a C6 soon
  9. I am driving out the shop dualie.. 4 door long bed superduty f450 with a 26 foot enclosed.. SO yeeeeeeeah traffic is going to blow ass but thats why I am leaving thursday night around 9 or 10 out of chicago.. drive all night long should put us in the area around noon im thinking.. that keeps us out of the crunch I hope.
  10. It might be able to be arranged.. just depends on what time we roll out You are only 2-3 hours you should roll out there to long island this weekend Jboy is supposed to as well hit me on my cell on friday if you want 847-652-8004
  11. Depending on what the future goals are a copy of Hp tuners might not be a bad idea. For the price you get the abilty to tune the truck and do lots of data logging. Just a suggestion. I am glad things are coming together finally.
  12. I prefer the Volant for appearance but I hear the outlaw performs a smidgen better.. and I say smidgen with all it's meaning.. anything that is going to get you cooler air is going to help a bit. Welcome to the site
  13. This coming Friday May 26th and Saturday the 27th Zippy and myself will be out in the Long island New York area Doing some tunes and helping out where we can I have to pick up a vehicle for a chassis customer so we are making a tune trip as well. If anyone is intrested or in the area and would like to come out for a tune on site 150 for the tuning and further info of the test site area will be posted within the next few days here. If you are intrested drop me or zippy a PM or give feel free to give me a ring at (847) 652-8004 and I will do my best to accomidate you.
  14. Staying around 11.5 is decent. I would keep it away from 12's even with meth. The leanest I would let it get is 11.7 to 1
  15. If you are willing to take the ride either I can install it here in the Chicago area or you can take it up by Zippy in western Mich and we can get something worked out there either myself or zip can help you with the install and tune. Pm me if I can help
  16. I would also stay with the 3.0 for what you are running. Yes the package you have is pretty stout but if you are concerned about stressing your engine and long term use just stick with the 3.0 You can take some away and go to the 3.1 or a 3.3 the stocker pulley but.. if you are happy with 6-7 psi now stay where you are at. One thing that might give you more a of a kick in the pants is a better tune for your application. I know that if you are in the chicago area you probobly did not have nelson tune your truck hands on. If you are intrested in a hands on PCM tune that will get the most out of your combonation let me know. I work very closely with Zippy as far as tuning goes and he has had some pretty incredible results with the radix trucks. I am a radix dealer myself and I offer Zippy tuning with my kits. Specifically him because his results so far are un matched with the SS guys and the work we have done with my truck with tuning is pretty incredible. If you are looking to tune your truck down a notch I would say go to a 3.1 but if you are happy where you are now stay there and get some fine tuning done. Don't go to the 2.9 unless you are looking to really get all you can out of that radix. Feel free to PM me if I can offer any further advice
  17. Yeah on their site they show real decent traction and handling ratings. Unfortunately.. that's their own site so it's hard to say for a set of 285/50/20's I can get them for 138 a tire loose dropped at my house and then I just mount and balance them myself so the price is fair it is simply the.. do I want to go cooper.. my other choice for less money is the eagle gt II but I am not entirely fond of that tire... So I might roll on these and see how it goes.
