  6. Ok.. someone put that Colorado on a diet! Man I really reaaaaaaaally am not liking what I am seeing here. I hope GM figures this out right away. Our bodystle IMO is one of the sharpest ones to date.. I really really hope this is a bad dream

  8. Great run. I feel for the guy in the goat.. those cars really can rip with the right nut holdin the wheel
  9. The cross hatching makes them whine. I have been running them for a very long time. Back at sema in 03 when I had my first s10 done the people that heard it swore to god it was a blown badass 4.3 little did they know it was just a 5 speed throttlebody with 130k on it.. it roasted the tires good though.. people really thought it was blown.. The whine overall might seem annoying at first but you will probobly get used to it. IMO they are the best belts on the market today.
  10. I will make the call for yah this afternoon. I don't have any in hand but I am going to put in a call and let you know a little later today.

  12. Lookin good Glad to see they got there safe and sound
  13. Thanks looks like I am going N/A for a while so I could use it the stock air box is just a wee bit restrictive
  14. It will wear in it just takes time..
  15. Most important is the tools and the knowhow to do it. It is not a terribly complex install but there are a few hangups that can happen if you have not really done more than change your oil and plugs.. The cost can go from just the purchase price of the unit..I do recomend shopping around on it. As Sandman posted I set him up with a good deal. And I do that for SS members. But the hold up is the time you are going to spend installing it. My dad told me a long time ago, you have to charge yourself for your own time because nothing in life is free. So if you spend 20 hours installing it.. mind you that is excessive.. say pay yourself 10 bucks an hour.. where are you at now? I would say expect to spend anywhere from 5500-6k for a new setup ... Used.. You take your chances with what you get for all you know you might end up with missing parts... that can be a huge hassle. If you don't count your time as money the price can appear lower.
  16. Neh.. not naturally asperated no.. with a centrifugal blower yes.
  17. Check the for sale section here on the forum 6.0 ss had one for sale that was all custom built
  18. Don't let the high prices eat you up. You can run 11's with your truck.. possibly with the stock short block. I would not spend my money on ls6 heads though save some coin get some darts or afr's get the port work done. Go with a much more aggresive cam with the LSA and duration for a blower cam.. and then start stepping up fron there.. long tubes intake swap.. natrually asperated if you get traction.. I don't think low 12's are a problem with the right parts put together.. then if spray is your weapon of choice hose it at the 6o foot once you are out and running and cush the camaro. But best bet.. decide if you really want to be boosted and if that is the best choice for what you want.. Remember you are running a 5300 lb truck against a 3500 lb car... you have to decide where to put your brains with making power if you want to jump this car.
  19. It is much less expensive than fogging your intercooler with nitrous.. It has virtually little effect on air to water intercooler setups but air to air it can have a pretty decent effect. The best part about it using Co2 rather than anything else is it is cheap and readily available at any welding supply. You will not see much of an increase for N/A but turbos like it for the strip and short races as well as an air to air supercharger like a procharger or vortech. I have yet to see an IAT in the 50's though unless it is 60 degrees out..
  20. I know I know sacrilidge.. I took mine off.. just because with the two tone it is not working right at all.. Could you do the pin stripe around it in the metalic silver and then do the actual hockey stick in a metallic grey like Jonmalibu's truck? that is the two tone I went with but my seperation right now is a metallic silver pinstripe... it just had too much going on. Second question.. how far back can you run the stipe? I also wanted to complement on bringing it to a point that looks really sharp. Thanks
  21. Thanks for making the drive down. Wish you stuck around a little longer. More tuning coming on that C6 that belongs to corvette america it is their test car. I think you heard me get a little rough on it and another zippy tune later got a little more rough on it. Defintely good times and I think everyone that made it out was pretty darn happy with the results. Defintely plan on me and zip heading back out sometime in the future.. with a much lighter truck to come out in
