despite the rain looks like some sucess I had a great time hope you all did too. Stiches thank you very much for all the planing and the tour. it made the day great. I'll post some pics later tonight. everyone else with cameras should join in too.

I have a call out for some help the day of the strip trip. I'm looking for someone with a stock, or close to stock SS that has no computer tuning done on it.
I have a Superchips flashpaq that I'm testing out, and was wondering if someone would be willing to do some back to back passes at the track for stock vs tuned. The tune is fully reversable and the SS would be returned to stock after a few runs.
I think this is a really low risk test with almost no chance of messing anything up.
If anyone is interested and will be at the track day, please send me a PM
that sounds sweet. I'de like to see the results of that one. I had some tests to run too
but sue and the crew at lebanon already gave me the no no to any alcohol fun cars that day. She said they were too loud and that I am not allowed to run mine except on sundays when there is a single lane available.

sounds like your nitrous tune is off, have you read your plugs? for those mods, your times are horible i'de admit. what kind of nos kit do you have and whats activating it. do you know your spraying the whole run?

All QC's are automatic. And how can you say it was not impressive? Look at all the work you have done to your truck, and you barely had him beat.
You said you had him by 1/2 a truck at 50-60, how do you know you would have pulled him by 2 - 3 truck lengths?
I say good kill, but you should be impressed with a 500hp HEAVIER truck, keeping up with your highly modded SSS.
It wasnt that impressive, son. The "VIPER" truck has 2 more cylinders, and probably doesnt weight much more (if not the same) and has about the same HP as my truck does with the blower I would imagine. Not to mention it is 2WD, which equates to less drivetrain loss than my AWD. I also dont think my SS is "heavily modded" as it only has a bolt on blower making 6psi, headers, exhaust, and a tune. I have a LOT more to do here in the future.
Sure, I had him by 1/2 lengths by 50 or so (wasnt looking at speedo, but I JUST shifted out of 1st, and barely in 2nd when I let off). But I started BEHIND him.... and when I let off I was literally pulling from him HARD... when his tires chirped going into 2nd, I was already passing him quick. I know if I didnt have to let off, I was about ready to leave him wayyy back there.
And 1stdodge, what about the guy on here who has an SS with only an intake/exhaust and kept up with the VIPER truck ?
nice kill man, keep in mind also that a new viper truck cost is more than an sss even with the mods you have.

is it me or are the tailights kinda flat looking... they don't look very shiney
tail lights are shot, i thought someone might notice that. I'm real pissed about that but will fix it when i get the time. maybe within the next couple weeks. I gonna at least clean the inside this weekend.

That would be mcgaughy, but set up a little different then any others i've seen on here. And the best part, no vibe at all but thats for a different post.

thanks man. They were a PITA to not only get straight but also prevent from rattling.(the roll pan is cut out to accept them.)
