  1. I was thinking he must have been joking too.
  2. You will want to scrap the to injectors that come with the blower. Install eight new injectors and you should be good.
  3. These one's work great! http://www.racetronix.com/17113739.html They're one of the more popular injector choices for our trucks and they are a direct fit. Also Ford SVO inectors work with a little modification. Get a custom tune and toss those whipple electronics. I'm not sure if you have the piggyback ECM like what came with mine but all their electronics seem to suck. Hope that helps.
  4. It's the norm. Common problem on 99 and newer GM trucks (at least to my knowledge.) Search for intermediate steering shaft and you will see all the threads on it.
  5. Yeah, I mean at least he's being different. Wouldn't be my choice, but still.... It's nice for a change to see someone do something that's not the everyday look.
  6. So- Let's See Some PICS!!!
  7. Well, he told the tuner (Wait 4 me) to firm up the shifts just a little bit over stock and the shift points tuned up a little bit too. The tuner didn't really seem to do much of anything as far as that's regarded. It is a RCSB '04 w/ 5.3. On a separate note Ben, my S-10 is still stumbling horribly well at idle and the tuner never got back to me about why that might be. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23159 I put well over a hundred miles on it since I put that PCM in and it's still just as bad. Any other ideas as to why this might be. It's almost like it's having mild backfires (almost seems like its extremely rich) out of the tailpipe and the RPM's are jumping up and down several hundred. Maybe clean the MAF, air filter and EGR? Any body with ideas on either of these topics would be appreciated as always. Thanks.
  8. Just out of curiousity, my brother got a new tune in his '04 Silverado and was wondering if he can still use the hypertech to program shift points with while still keeping the tune. He want's to do more tinkering with the shift points and firmness but doesn't want to lose the tune. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
  9. It's always fun beating a camaro! Right on!
  10. I haven't seen any so far. But a close second choice would be to upgrade to IROC wheels or knockoff IROC wheels. They look very similar with a 5 spoke design and look great with 80's-90's vehicles. Just a thought. BTW, welcome to the site!
  11. Right on! Hope you have a good time and definitely Stay Safe!
  12. Quik, please do everyone a favor and at least act a little bit more professionally. I totally understand voicing your experiences and your opinions as that is what this forum is for. However, you're sounding like a five year old child. I'm not trying to offend you but it is something to keep in mind. With that said, I hope you get everything figured out.
  13. Yeah sorry, I guess it is a repost which I figured would happen but I didn't see it anywhere on the site. I almost never click on that first forum. Anyways, still ugly as hell IMO.
  14. My buddy just sent this to me. http://www.autosite.com/content/shared/art...cle_id_int/1418 All I can say is Honestly, if this is the new Silverado, what the hell is GM thinking!? This thing is absolutely hideous! I sure hope the 2wd and performance edition options they have make it look better than this. What's up with the half chrome/half painted front bumper? How about those, giant fenders that take up the whole bed? etc. etc.... I can go on and on! It almost looks like a Ford escape pickup/nissan exterra pickup. I can't believe what I'm seeing! P.S. be sure and advance to the pictures on the following pages of that link. Or, not if you really want to
  15. Just curious to know the percentage of members who have an aftermarket transmission cooler that have also done a shift kit and/or torque converter. If you have one installed, what brand and model number? Feel free to list what else you have had done to your transmission and/or truck that you would think meant it necessary for new trans cooler. Also, what climate (or state) do you live in? Thanks.
