  1. Yeah, the funniest thing about that story is if she didn't keep getting out of her car she would have made it to the next available pump in time. What a dumbass!
  2. That sucks man. Sorry to hear that!
  3. Yeah, the H3 is seriously LAME!

    87 octane

Okay, thanks for the info guys. I figured it was at least worth a try. Originally, I thought it was fuel treatment that I had in my truck because that was what I was going to use with 92 (since I haven't used that in a while,) then I saw the oct. boost and got a wild hair. Oh well.

    87 octane

Actually, a few of my family's race engines that we built were meant to run on 100 or 104 octane (due to higher compression) and we added octane booster with 92 and they ran just fine. I don't disagree with what some people are saying but.... However, the big bad boy's that we built (500 and 540ci na fuel injected engines,) there's no getting around running racing fuel in them. BTW, Quik, you don't have to be such a dick.

I haven't really heard pinging much ever at all. Just this last tank of 92 I had in there (Chevron too!) it actually was detonating a little bit.

    87 octane

Actually, I was researching the price and you can get it for as low as $3-4. This stuff I bought like six months ago and forgot I had it in my truck so I figured I would try it out. I think it's a cheaper brand though (I can't remember the name but it came in an orange bottle and I think it said Super Octane Booster.) I'm not sure if the cheap stuff does as much but it is close to making sense. When premium sometimes costs 30 to 40 cents more per tank than 87 at almost $4 a gallon it seems like it would start to become logical.

    87 octane

Has anyone tried this yet? I filled my tank with 87 last night with a bottle of octane booster to see if it would run just as good or close. It was pinging a little bit with the rest of the 92 i had in there before hand anyways. So I figured what the hell, might as well see if it works. I think I heard a little bit of pinging but not much. I haven't driven it enough to find out for sure yet though.
  9. That sounds like a whole bunch of bullshit allright! Hope you get those guys good.
  10. Sorry dude, but it just doesn't do anything for me. If they do for you then go for it!

    HID

To the people that have done HID's, do you have high and low beams? What would it involve to get both high and low's? Is it real pricey? Just curious.
  12. On a side note, I was just thinking about the protester's here in Seattle today. Some guy drove straight into the crowd of marchers and kept driving plowing people over. People were bouncing off the front of his car and over his hood. The protester's were chasing after guy, throwing stuff, banging on his car and rocking it all around. It was pretty funny watching it on the news. Needless to say, the man was arrested.
  13. Unfortunately, the media only add's fuel to the fire. If there was not media, then we would not have these problems.
  14. That's Crazy! I just got my Dachshund puppy on Wednesday! My mom got one from the same litter too. They are both female black and tans. The two you see in the picture though are my two dogs. The big one is Foxy, and she is 13 years old. I still have yet to come up with my puppy's name but I think I going to call her Sonic. She is 9 weeks old. Most pics are with my camera phone so not the best quality. The first one was taken at the breeder's. Here you go.
  15. You would think that, but there is such a limited production on these cars. Here we a list of customers wanting the cars, so they're pretty much sold before they're even unloaded. If the person at the top of the list backs out, doesn't want it, or whatever, call the next one. There may be some in other parts of the country, just not here. They should at least try to find you one as quickly as possible. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats why theres no way in hell any of these demands from all the post on here would work, simply put if he chuses not to buy theres a list of people that would step right in and take it off the dealers hands! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True in many places I guess. But, my body works at a Chevy dealership and they got one (a black one) of the two '06 Z06's in that they were supposed to get for the year. It sat there for about two weeks and no one bought it so they sold it to a dealership about 40 miles away. My was dad was orginally really interested in getting a blue one so my friend said if he bought it (the black one) it would be no problem to do an exchange and swap ZO6's with another dealership.
  16. They can find a dealership with a Red one. Even if it's in the U.S. There is a dealership with one somewhere. Just tell them to trade it for the one you want or no deal.
  17. I just bought a set of Nitto 420's about 3 weeks ago. I did my research and checked them out on multiple sites. For instance, if you read the tire code for that tire on Discount's site you will see a W, meaning Whitewall. They have a whole section that refers everything about tires on their main page. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoHome.dos Click on Reading the Tire Size. Those were the size I wanted but I knew they were whitewall so I got 265/50/20's instead. No offense, but research the product a little more before you spend that much money. I do agree the guy should have stated that on his ebay page though. And, it's really stupid that Nitto makes Whitewall's in that size.
  18. I have the Belltech 2/2 (Spindles/Shackles) and haven't had a problem. It rides almost identical to stock but has a little better handling. It sounds like they didn't do something correctly. If they did adjust the keys though, this could be part of the problem.
  19. Signed! Wish Tiffany, Knuckles and you Luck!
