I am not an engine builder but watched a few guys and iifc the the rod and cap bearing can all be different thickness for when you do torque everything down some caps/rods may be looser than others and out of spec, you may have to have the crank and rod remachined.good luck man. I joined some of the guys at LVD this past weekend for some racimg and my 3rd and 4th runs were my best to date. .Thanks to all who helped me get this far and hopefully in the spring there will be more to come. I havent heard of the issue yet but the only way to know how to remove it is to look and try.more than likely there is a cotter pin holding a through pin whi h is what the pedal probably pivots on, pull the cotter pin, push out the through pin and it should come apart.Good luck.
