I'm not sure the AWD contributes to a 2.10 60'. I've pulled a 2.08 60' far with my 2wd on the 20's with room to go and managed a 2.0 60' with a VHO running 245/70R17 take off's from a 2005 work truck.
Ya my buddy (OUT2WIN) is pulling 2.0 60' in a 2wd SS (no stall either). The AWD definatley contibutes on the street though, Im usually always ahead at the start.

hahaha its true I only weigh 150, but I think I would have to charge you guys or you would have to have alot of carne asada ready for me. I love carne asada with some flower tortias. I may be little but I can eat alot, sometimes.

Get some good mods (tune, CAI, LT's, cat-back) and should be able to beat a HD. The one in the vids I believe was running a tune and 14psi of boost? Before my LT's and before the HD mods (mentioned) the HD was getting me by 1/2 a truck, I only ran the HD with my 22's on. It would be interesting with 16's? We should have a pretty good race then.

With your mods and a tune I went 9.26 with 2.10 60', gotta love AWD!!! Get a TUNE...you'll love it.

I wont stop....only reason I slowed the modding down was cause I KNOW there is a 13 in my truck. The way I came out with my brother pretty much guaranteed it. After I went ahead on the first race, we stayed that way till the end. The 2nd race was door to door from the beginning to the end.

Thanks bro! My wife is going to love me when I ask for "THE SC"? She said that me buying the LT's was my birthday and christmas present, WTF? Ya Ruff, your truck is definalty in the 13's, no doubt in my mind. I think i'll let your bro drive my truck (weight reduction LOL), that should get me there for sure.

C'mon bro I know you saved all that "WHOOPASS" for me. Man Im not sure with you and Gordo. Both your trucks are fast. I think Gordo would have beat me even worse if he would have left sooner, it looks like I got the jump on him. But Gordo was gaining quick at the end and I mean quick. I think you and me took off pretty good together though you got me at the end by a length plus. I dont know who would win between you and Gordo? It would be close for sure, but from what I seen when we raced I think Gordo's truck pulls a bit harder on the top end...but then again Im a Chevy guy. Who knows, we just need to line them up again and settle this, its all in fun. Besides if we loose it gives us reasons to keep modding. Like I said to Ruff...where do we stop?

Just get ready to dip in the 13s. There is a SS in TX with similiar mods as yours but also a stall converter and ran a 13.7X. I have no doubt you will run pretty damn close to my little bros time.
I on the other hand should have another mod or so in the next couple of weeks
I want that damn 13.99I sure hope so...13's would be nice. Probably next year i'll be looking into a stall and shift kit. This racing is sooo adictive, were do we stop? 13's, 12's, 11's????????????????? But I love it, we could be into worse things.

Ok, ok Im here now. With me and OUT2WIN it was definatley a photo finish, I had him at the start but he gained on me at the end; another 50ft and would have beat me, no doubt. Me and Gordo...that was a good race, though he got me at the end by 1/2 to 3/4 of a legnth. Watch out Ruff, you little bro's truck is pretty impressive. Ah me and the Harley, what can I can say except that I think Alex saved all of his good launches for me (twice), that wasn't very nice Alex. Though that HD got me twice by a length and maybe a bit of clearance. All in all we had lots of fun, I think everyones added mods helped. And lets not forget Danny, his ride is also impressive that 5.3L rocks and he did not have slicks.
I should have brought the 16's, oh well for street trim I was happy with how my SS ran

I havent run the SSS at Spokane yet, but now that I did my tune and have the CAI I would like to see what it would do. They are having an event (I forgot what its called) at SRP (Spokane RAceway park) on Sept 14-15 with some badass cars. I was asking about your current mods cause Shelley Performance (who did all my work) was saying that getting a cat-back exh, LT headers, and a stall converter, and retune, should put me in the high 13's??
Its my dailly driver so I dont want to get to crazy, but it sounds good.
My next mod will most likely be a stall and shift kit, that should get me into the hi 13's. We'll see hopefully soon enough.

No not yet. I will be at RaceWars in Royal City this coming weekend (8-25) and the following weekend Im hoping to hed to Spokane for some timed runs. Im hoping to hit a very low 14 sec et, hopefully everything will work out. Have you ran your truck at Spokane before? If so, how'd you do?

tonight i was out getting food when i came across a kid in a TBSS. he guned it along side of me and then the light turned red up ahead. we were at the light together talking and we both agreed to race. he said it was completely stock so that made me happy. so before then light turns i brake stall it to 28 grand and shoot out of the whole when it goes green. i pull right off the bat and by 50 i had a truck and i held it to 80 were we had to shut down and i still had a truck on him. he was not happy at the next light but i told him what i had and he simmered down.
and he didn't want to go again. i don't blame him. mark another kill.
Have you been to a track with your current mods? If so, what sort of times are you putting down? I ran 14.39et before the LT's and was now thinkning of a stall and zippy shift kit. If you pulled on theTBSS im thinking your about 13.7ish +/- a tenth?

Got my Outlaw CAI last week and installed today. Looks great. SSS breathes alot better now....especially above 3000rpms
Now saving for the cat-back exhaust. And let the modding begin....thats how it starts. Good luck!

Never been to Elko, but I have been trained in NIMS IS-100, 200, 700, 800 and ICS through FEMA/National Fire Academy here in NY among a whole list of other certifications............and a college degree in Fire Engineering.
Sounds good! I mainly deal with industrial type situations (Hazmat, etc etc), the real bad stuff. We call the local fire squad to clean up when were done. I've also got lots of certs I wasn't trying to post my resume just seeing who was in the field mainly

Just got back from Incident Command training in Elko, Nevada. Real good training, have any of you firefighters been to Elko? I would definatley recommend it.

You should notice quite a gain from them.......I bet you can get a 14.1X or better.
Who did the install?
So far by the seat of my pants it feels pretty good, definatley sounds meaner, way meaner. I actually went to Midas, I ended up knowing one of the guys who worked there. He charged me a very small amount, though i would have paid him anyway for the trouble. Sorry I did not reply sooner I was in Nevada since last Sunday for work, just got home today. I was suprised I did not see one SS?

What have you heard about the new Ford HD coming out this Oct 07? I read an aticle stating the S/C ones have 450hp/500tq but the 0-60 time was only like 6.5sec. Shoot, if that 0-60 time is correct my SS will smoke em! The article I read had no 1/4 mile et, truck will be priced in the mid 40's with S/C. N/A will have option for AWD but S/C ones are 2WD.

Before the LT's I ran a best of 14.39 et @ 95.12mph. With the Dynatech Lt's is it reasonable to assume i'll hit 14.1xx? Whats your experiences been when adding Lt's?
