Here in WA, starting Jan 08 no more texting either while driving, which I agree with . Starting in July 08 only hands free devices are to be used, which I agree with to some extent. Just curious when they will stop? Soon we will banned from tuning the radio, adjusting the A/C, etc, etc while driving? Its gonna be 10 and 2, no exceptions, or get a ticket.

I was watching one of those car shows on Spike this morning (Power Block TV) and they did a comparison between standard auto store 5W30 (don't know if it was syn or not) on a SB Chevy on the dyno. After making a pull at 6500 RPM's, they switched the filter and oil for Royal Purple synthetic 5W30. They made another pull at 6500 RPM's and made 8HP more than with the standard stuff.
So I guess my question is, since I use Mobil 1 and not the general brand, would switching to Royal Purple still give me gains?

I seen the same show...got to admit I questioned the results? Made me switch to synthetics, not RP though too exspensive.

I never spend my change, I always use dollar bills. It drives my wife crazy, she always likes to have the exact amount when purchasing something? Anyhow, I keep my change in a emtpy water bottle. Ive never filled it, but about once a year I role up the change and usually have between $700 to $1000 saved.

Nearly 12 yrs at a chemical plant (Renewable Energy Corporation) or REC. We make Silane gas and the raw material for solar panels. Started at an entry level job when I was 21, became an operator, then Operations Lead. Earlier this year was promoted to Superintendent.

Thats why I just ordered a set of Dynatech headers/cats this week. I was between the OBX/Dynatech, but I am not going to put anything of inferior quality on my truck and the money was not an issue in this instance.

Attorney is a different ball game. One attorney is not the same as another one. They each have their own talents, knowledge, skills, etc. A 30yr mortgage at 6% or 6.5% is still a 30yr mortgage. The obx and dynatechs are still the same design, power, performance, materials, etc. So why pay more?
Ok, answer honestly...If money were no object, which would you buy...OBX or the Dyna's? I personally felt better knowing I got a quality product, not saying the OBX's arent...just for my peice of mind. I paid just under $1300 for my LT's, didn't bother me finacially but to me was worth every penny

If you get what you pay for, why dont you take a higher interest rate on your mortgage? Because a 30yr fixed is a 30yr fixed and you might as well save some money.
Try that with an attorney? See how it turns out...you'll want to spend the extra money. OBX is the old Dynatech design anyway.

My dynatechs went in with ease in about 4hrs, no issues. Of course I paid alot for them, but then again...you get what you pay for IMO.

Lots to say but will try to keep it brief, this is going to be another brain dump -
First, NO WOMAN is worth getting into a fight or going to jail over. Man Rule.
Second, that girl is troubled; the way she lives her life is bringing you nothing but drama. She is simultaneously jerking both your chain as well as that of this other guy. This is the kind of woman that trouble just seems to follow like the wake after the Titanic.
A little Dog Whisperer take on this - notice how SHE comes to YOU? Notice how HE comes to YOU? And Cesar says the leader (dominant one) never walks over to the follower(s), it is the other way around - the submissive ones gravitate to the leader. Think about it.
In this little dysfunctional love triangle YOU have been already been "elected" the dominant one by default, SO ACT IT. This is my suggestion - do not ask but rather TELL that bitch you expect her to make a clean/clear-cut decision as to what she is going to do with her life, as Mr. Miagi say "grape can walk on left side, or walk on right side, but walk down middle and *squish*"; and coming is the most important point here, that being you cannot tell another human being what to do only what you expect and this is another really good life rule - manage others by making your expectations clear and explicit, then let them make their decisions. Always.
Look K., she's subconciously got you two guys running in circles doing stuff you normally would never dream of doing, both you guys are acting under the influence of **** - she needs to decide what to do with her life. She also needs to learn how to deal with the man problems in her life. She is not alone, you will find that most women have NO idea how to treat a man, in fact most women have NO idea how to treat other women! So you gotta be on the lookout for people that are f'd up like that.
If I were me in your shoes this situation is already too far gone to make a relationship with this woman. Because she's proven she's weak-minded and you will always subconciously wonder if she is being up-front with you or whether you're being jerked around with. I have nothing against women that need "rescuing" but man this is not how she's acting, I don't care what she is telling you - take a look at her behavior, she doesn't need rescuing, she needs some f'n manners.
OH - and about the other guy, leave him alone. If he's dumb enough to be left twisting in the wind at her mercy then so be it, let him. You run YOUR life, let him run his. You run your relationship with her, let the two of them work out their own problems. Your relationship with her is your business, the relationship between the two of them is none of your business so butt-out and let them handle it. Just make your expectations clear. And if that other "gentleman" DOES butt into your business (i.e. your relationship with her) then be the alpha male and YOU take the problem to HIM and make your expectations clear, whatever you decide them to be; the key here is never to start shit, your job is to handle your business whatever it may be.

Tranny Cooler
in AWD, Differential, & Transmission Tech

Im planning on upgrading my tranny with Yank 2600 Torque converter, and either a Zippy or Transgo shift kit. My SS already has a tranny cooler but I see others are upgrading there coolers, are the stock coolers inadequate? What are the issues and which cooler should I consider, if any?
Ive researched both shift kits, both seem to be the shift kit of choice, how about the TQ are there others I should consider that are reasonably priced? I tow a boat (+/-3000lbs) occansionally.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
