  1. Oh come on, NOBODY would do this kind of "Fast and Furious" job on a FULL SIZE TRUCK!!!!! Is it the big 4.3 V6? It's so cute, I want to get one for my daughter! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wheres the so called FNF shit on the truck? youre a funny fool
  2. yes for pulling not for HP unless you really modify them. a few years ago i thought of getting one when i was young and dumb lol but did seraching adn seen how poor the intake setup was and that a 4.7 magnum walks the the R/T <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There are 650 hp r/t's out there that run consistently deep in the 11's. Pulling my ass. They would rape any SS on this site. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> are you able to read or do you have poor dodge syndrone? really modified. stock they are garbage and get spanked by the 4.7s <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dunno what you are smokin, but an Auto RC 4.7 Dak will NOT spank an Auto 5.9 RC RT.... aint gonna happen. Sorry. The stick 4.7 RC's are pretty quick, and can take an RT stock for stock, but not with an auto. BTW, light boltons, RC RT's run mid to low 13's consistantly. This is intake, headers/exh and PCM. Doesnt take much to knock 2 seconds off of a RC RT. And if you get a lil crazy, 11's arent even a sweat for some of us anymore... I ran a 12.02 @ 109 in my stock heads/cam RC RT with a 150 shot. In my RT CC with heads/cam Im running 11.50's @ 118... with some tire spin off the line. My wifes lil POS bolt on RC RT runs mid 13's all day on the motor. Yeah, real pieces of shit... hahaha Danno <{POST_SNAPBACK}> tested years ago, go read up!! go see it at local drag strips
  3. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, neither
  4. What do you mean "you can't compare" the two? Are you saying Zippy's post at the top of this page is WRONG? BOTH trucks run very high 14s to mid 15s. If you are calling the R/T a "joke", then you also smear the SSSilverado with the same brush. The weights are different, but look at the horsepower. The Dakota might be LIGHTER, but it only has 250ish horsepower. Like YOUR truck. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> under 2k and then you got almost 3k in weight and my truck only has 250ish hp lol lol now youre showing your true intelligence
  5. are you able to read or do you have poor dodge syndrone? really modified. stock they are garbage and get spanked by the 4.7s Let's try YOUR reading Shall we? I think the majority here agree the SSS and the Dakota R/T run times that are VERY similar when dead stock. Midsize-truck vs large truck, 2 wheel drive vs 4 wheeld drive, etc etc aside. The SSSSilverado runs from (not often) high 14s to (more often) low to mid 15s. A Dakota R/T runs from (not often) high 14s to (more often) low to mid 15s. Both the Dakota R/T and the SSSilverado are in the same ballpark as far as dead stock 1/4 mile times. Are you following me yet? Now, if a "stock Dakota R/T was .... GARBAGE as you put it, then I'm going to have to assume you know you are pointing out the stock SSSilverado's times are also.... GARBAGE because they run near identical times. ARE YOU CALLING THE STOCK SSSilverados "garbage"...? The 4.7 Daks are quick, but they will neither "spank" the Dakota R/T or the SSSilverado, in my opinion. A 4.7 that runs well can beat either an average SSS or Dakota R/T, but it's not a "common occurance". You have twisted insulting views! You also have twisted insulting flares on your truck, but we'll talk about that another time.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep, my fares are what you describe them as even tho they are factory. no the R/T is a joke , you cant compare it to the SSS of which the weight isnt even close. tests havebeen done, proof has been there and stated the 4.7 is actually the truck to get for racing and the 5.9 R/T was the one you wished you had bought for pulling. and i dontcare what mopar motor is out there for your trucks why do they get such lousy MPG? ...........answer is junk setups

  8. Nah, those are TURDS!!!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i guess 14s arent impressive for them faster then the first SS truck and faster then the SSS
  9. who you beating? hell rams with a side of snake are by far the best tasten' trucks around. the owners have such small manhoods, all you hear is i have a viper motor :blah::blah::blah: get with yourselves ive seen a few of them run nothing more then high 14s and they were RSCB <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You gotta show all here your IMMENSE MANHOOD, and call out those snake dummies! Here, I saved you some time, there are several dead stock SRT10 owners in Pennsylvania, show them what you are made of! Here's a link..... LET 'EM HAVE IT!!!!!!! SRT10 Ram forum <{POST_SNAPBACK}> im up for it!!! but going to their site would be dumb. let them come to track and get theirs

up here i ran at the local flashlight drags. its about 1/8 mile or so. i was in total street trim riding on 20s. wasnt sure of doing it since i was leary about breaking but did it anyways. 1st race......ran a 69 malibu i feather it untill i was bout 30mph and floored it. broke them loose shifted 2nd spun but kept pulling, spun partial of 3rd and then shut it down. i was bout 2.5 lenghts on him...trans was about 160* 2nd race.....ran a supercharged denali. i feather it untill i was bout 30mph and floored it. did the same as first race as for spinning actually spun more. i was about same distance or so in front of him. trans 190* ........both passes leaving around 1500 rpms and walking it slowly out of hole. 3rd race.... ran a 383 LT1 ss he had stickies of course me on 20s. i spun badly i was fishtailing down the track i finally stop spinning right before the 2-3 shift and then started to regain ground when it ended i was only about 2 cars if that behind him. trans was 155* on this run each time i was crossing the mark around mid to high 90s. what i dont like is when the converter locks up i drop rpms. see tune was setup for 2800 stall and i tossed in a 3800 and im not sure if that has anything to do with it. but after it locks up it starts to gain again. which isnt bad but that loss rpms for that short period of time. will say truck is just strong as can be, but i noticed some rich cloud out the pipes so im sure there is room on the table for a dyno tune instead of a mail order tune. will say trans is sweet, no issues with it or not. so for the next event im going with slicks and then trying out the juice. also this event was on an airport runway. they call it flashlight drags. its just like racing on the streets so there isnt not compound what so ever overall im pleased with what it did for that amount of testing. just need to talk to my tuner and see whats up with the converter and maybe see a way of data logging the truck and then send him the info to do another tune
