  1. Had a little write up with pics in the video/photo section. Let me know what you think?
  2. Two inch Belltech spindles, 4" DJM hanger/shackle kit, new belltech street shocks. Energy suspension kit. Shaved 2 nubs from rear bumps and drilled them, then mounted directly to frame. Had to turn torsion screw a few times on passenger side and a few less on driver side. Not she sits nearly dead-nuts level and the ride is great...i'd definately say better than before. It was a lot of work and a headache for me because i'd never done this and had no idea where to start. There are about 10 guys on here that i irritated the hell out of, i'm sure of it. But, Thanks !!!! I wouldn't have done this without your help. You know who you are as i've pm'd the hell out of most of you. Next stop.....dynamatting and a clean, strong sound system. Then i'm done. Then i just wait for the repairs to kick in. Actually, next stop is giving this truck a bath.
  3. My wife is a photographer who unfortunately will not be coming, but i can bring a good camera. This is gonna be good. So i'll try to get some good shots and get this thing documented. Should be cool. Hopefully we'll have a good setup at the show.
  4. I'm coming from Manhattan KS. It would be nice to know everyone meeting at Legends that morning so we don't miss anyone...kind of a headcount before take off for BS. This sounds like it gonna be goooooooooood. Can't wait.
  5. I'm kickin around stayin sat night...any ideas whats going on that night? I'm a short drive west so it makes no difference either way. Plan on coming in Sat morning, so i'll check back later on a good time to show...but it sounds like around 1130-1200 at Legends for guys from out west. Sound about right?
  6. I have dual magnaflows out the back. I like the sound of the those sports. I want to change out because i'm getting a fair amount of drone at low speeds in town, not so much on the highway. I'd love to hear a similar clip of the touring exhaust tacked on to this thread. But, with that said, Not Bad at all.
  7. Not bad at all. Dedication is what that boils down to. GOT TO KEEP THE KIDS HAPPY. Strong work.
  8. I'm new to it to, so not surprised i probably said something that made no sense . Hope you like yours as much. Still trying to get used to it before i throw in a shot of nitrous.
  9. You might have read my reply on the KC thread. I was not implying you can only drive certain distances. I was just saying that it is a long way to drive with a radix. I have a radix, but if i had the choice, i would drive the wifes TBSS before my supercharged Radix on a 12 hour drive. I should've been more specific. And this is only an opinion with a hundred reasons why i feel that way, none of them implying that it can't handle it.
  10. I'm with Big on this one. Pretty good shop told me about steppin up from this unit to the new 4100. It has a little nicer screen with less buttons. Good ipod interface. Not sure about sound. Will know soon. Amazon price is around $390...no Nav.
  11. Get rid of his whiney ass. Brings a team down. Denver has enough to overcome without a pansy-ass complainer. Would be fun to keep him and let him ride the pine, but a huge waste of money. Kick him in the nuts and send him packin.
  12. If you can make it in 10 hours, you're stressing that Radix brother. I'm at around 11 hours here in Manhattan with another 1.5 to KC. Topeka has a nice drag strip in b/t but i have no idea what it takes to run there. I think you should come. If you do, let me know and i'll follow you from here. I have a cousin in Central SD i'll try to hook up with you for the ride...he has his own black SS with a few fun mods. If you're serious, let me know. 13. I'm gonna try to make that. The wife will shop all damn weekend while i hang with the trucks. Is there any plan for this? I've never been to one. Is it one day, all weekend? Is there a strip to run if we want? If not, is a quick drive to the topeka strip an option? Do we go on a driving run through some scenic areas? Or do we sit in a parking lot and grill, gawk and shoot the shit, cuz i'd be ok with that too. I'd like to see what everyone is doing with their SS's. Besides, i need someone to distract Tzer so i can lift his truck and jack the wheels.
  14. Go to noweeds.net and check out that product. I've heard good things about it and i've also heard it's kind of pricey. I have DMH and seem fairly straightforward. Kind of fun once in awhile for those unsuspecting passer-bys.
  15. I'm on board with you Thunder, not questioning you or thinking you're an @ss. Just the opposite.
  16. Not sure what your motivation for staying in this is, 8, but if i were you, i'd have said F$#K THIS a long time ago. Maybe what you need to do is post your cost of making this project per piece that you intend to sell to those that want to buy it. That way, everyone will see the cost that you incur in making it. Then, no one can say that you are making a profit off of it and maybe they will understand that it actually costs you money to do this. Maybe there is something i'm missing here, but i know that by supplying you a picture, you still incur cost in making this item. IF i like the product you provide, i will buy it from you because i know it cost money to make...especially if you are NOT MAKING MONEY OFF OF MEMBERS OF THIS SITE WITHOUT THEIR PRIOR KNOWLEDGE. Can we wrap this Shit up and move on now everyone??? WTF am i missing here??? It really isn't that difficult of a concept.
  17. Tryin not to hijack BIG, so let me know if you think i am and i'll post new thread, but hope this helps you too. What's with all the diamond component fanatics? Is it that good of a product? And, is there a good place to research dynamatting to include install?
  18. Magnuson Radix 112 w/ Daco idler pulleys/Dual heat exchanger, Taylor 8.8 wires, NGK TR6 plugs, 160 T-Stat, ThunderRacing Blower Cam w/ dual Patriot Gold Springs and hardened pushrods, dual roller timing chain, Volante CAI, Custom Tune. Custom dual Nitrous Outlet Wet Nitrous Plate Kit with custom polished stand alone fuel tank. Dynatech LT's, Magnaflow Dual Exhaust, DMH Electric Cutouts. 4L65E Tranny, Differential Studs, TA Girdle, Yank TT2600 SC. 36K BTU Tranny Cooler. Dual AeroForce Gauges, PLX Wideband. 22" Velocity 166 Rims/Toyo Proxes. Drilled/Slotted 14" rotors, Earl Braided lines, painted calipers. And the list goes on.....
  19. I have 2 - 8" subs in a nice custom grey enclosure under the seat driven by a mid level amp. Soon to upgrade stock speakers to a mid-upper level set. I'll have a separate amp to help power them. Not sure on the head unit yet, but i have something in mind. I've gone this route before. You doing the work yourself? I have a great stereo shop i get advice and products from . If i can do it myself, i do. Otherwise i let them do the rest. Great advice on the right amps for the right speakers. This route has gone well in the past. With a good amp and speakers, you'll do well on sound and the 8's will give you plenty of great sounding bass without disturbing the neighbors. If you want the name of the shop just to call for advice, PM me. I don't have the time to do alot of this and i honestly don't have a fraction of the knowledge that a lot of guys on here have. Good luck !
