  1. 2K, Your Box is full. Can't pm you. Please pm me cost on this style and chrome as well. Sorry to jack your thread a little snake.....btw, let me know if you have any interest in working out a deal with the email I sent you.
  2. Sent you a PM, but yes, 285/45/22 without rubbing and the wheels work great with No brake clearance issues. Welcome to the site, and that's a nice buy.
  3. More your age ?????? I'm 41...i think. Can't remember so i must be at least 40. Maybe i need to shell mine too. Good luck with the sale. That's a great looking truck with some tasteful mods.
  4. I think service providers are to blame most of the time when a phone turns out to be nothing more than a turd. I have tried many phones, but iphone is hands down the winner for all around functionality for me. With that said, when i had iphone with AT&T, it was very fast but shit service and no 3G at the time for over a year of empty promises. When i switched to Verizon because they finally took on the iphone, i've had a few service glitches and slower speeds but great reception. BUT, here's why i really like IPHONE.... had a back yard party and the phone ended up in the lawn somewhere in the middle of the night. Finally found it around 10 am the next day after the irrigation spent 15 minutes trying to make the iphone grow roots. Never had a single issue with it for over a year after that. Will a Droid handle that...?
  5. This is it a few years back... wait for it...... wait for it.....
  6. Ebay is your friend Dave. If you want to spend the next 6 months searching for the best deal, then maintain a steady connection to for sale threads on this forum, corvette central, other truck forums and where ever you think they might end up for sale. Otherwise, get a number from one of the ebay sellers, or email them, and try to deal with them. Unless you get lucky finding something that someone decided against using, ebay will prob be the best price. Good luck !!
  7. That's kind of how i am too. Extra hood in the attic of garage. Extra parts everywhere. Extra set of wheels/tires for many reasons. What i've found is i get bored easily. Switching the wheels every 6 months gives it a totally different look. Hell, i've had the TVS1900 for a few months and now gonna go 2300. I WON'T be keeping the 1900 around as a spare.
  8. I'm really glad everyone has their own taste when it comes to these trucks....otherwise, this would be one of the most boring sites on the planet. Instead, i check it almost every damn day just to see what others are doing now. Thankfully, the SS brothers (and on occasion, sisters) will come to the aid of the few that choose to distastefully mod their SS's. But for the most part, i love how everyone has their thing going and it's all pretty good. ShaunSS, i do a double take every time i see yours. I'm not a big fan of the hood, yet i don't think it takes away from the overall great look of the truck. I honestly thought you already had 22's on it. I think it sits and looks perfect. You might wanna try to borrow a buddys set of 22's and try them out before you pull that trigger. .................and back to the thread. I think when done correctly, the fogs look great in the ducts. Many members have perfected it without taking away anything from the truck.
  9. It's almost impossible to keep up with all the shit you're into Brian. Another good one to follow. Very nice !
  10. Here's my take on all of this, FWIW.... 1. Calipers - Got my calipers from a guy on ebay that has been selling them forever. If you ebay z06 calipers, you'll usually see at least a few sellers. They are usually listed as AC DELCO and GM with different numbers, but it doesn't take much research to get the numbers and figure it out. I called the ebay seller and made sure, and also talked him down a bit and he gave free shipping. All in all, around $1100 for all four. You'll find better deals, but be expected to spend a lot of time searching and rub your lucky penny. 2. Rotors - I called Baer directly and gave the info on numbers provided on this thread. 15" fronts Eradispeeds and 14" rears. They had a sale last November for about 10-15% off. Just went that route.... around $1000 IIRC. 3. Brackets - Rudy. Couldn't have gone smoother and they're great quality. Thanks Rudy ! 4. Caliper pins for the vette rotors - I bought these from ebay seller corvette central.com. Around $180 shipped 5. Brake pads - Mr P gave me the name of a very standup guy....Sam Strano of stranoperformance 800-729-1831. He know his stuff with performance pads and will suggest based on what you want, but i ended up going with this: HB531F570 HPS C6 Z06 Front--Padlet design HB532F570 HPS C6 Z06 Rear--Padlet Design. They were about $270 shipped. A little cheaper than the one piece. But i went padlets because it was an easy install and will be easy to replace. Yet to be determined about how they wear, but brake dust isn't to bad. 6. Fluid - synthetic 7. Stainless lines - from summit Hope this helps those of you that are on the fence about doing it. I like it alot and i love the look. I'll try to post a pic
  11. There are many different treatments for back pain. Having a physician that can direct you through the different modalities that provide the right direction for your specific issues is key. I'm not sure what kind of epidural 'drip' you were on, but epidural steroid injections DO NOT eat away anything. This is just not true. Steroids have their share of negative side effects, but given correctly and over a specific timeframe in divided doses, they are a safe treatment. Epidural steroid injections are an effective means of treating certain back pain related issues. Not trying to start anything, just saying...don't be scared of them if that's what is recommended. But as always, know your options and decide from there.
  12. If your standard therapies aren't working (ie. physical therapy, pain meds, etc), talk to your doc about epidural steroid injections. It may lessen your pain, if not take it completely away. At the very least it may be a diagnostic tool to help determine the next action you take. Of course the MRI will dictate whether or not injections are an option. Just my .02 Good luck. Back pain/sciatica is a bitch but surgery is not the only option, and hopefully it'll be a down the road option if nothing else works.
  13. Welcome to the site. You might want to give a ballpark figure on what you're looking to spend, as well as more specifics as to what you are looking for. Browse the ss's in the for sale section and don't be afraid to travel. There are some great trucks in there and it is a huge plus to buy from someone that has been on this site for awhile vs a dealer or someone else unknown. I've bought from Ohio, New York and most recently Cali. Ask questions and use the SEARCH. Good luck !
  14. I'd go ahead and pick up another job. You're gonna need it when that modding bug really hits.
  15. If i could do it all over again, i'd have gone this route from the start. I love 'em. This is a great improvement over spindle drops. Good buy ! These should go quick.

  17. Ill try to get all of the parts/numbers/sources for my vette brake kit in a few days and post up some pics on Rudys how to thread. Right now I'm up to my elbows in assholes so it'll prob be later in the week. B/t calipers, pads, pins, rotors, lines, brackets, etc, etc, I never did get more than one item from any given distributor. If you have questions, fire away. Otherwise I'll get back to you on this later.
  18. When you buy, get the number from the eBay guy. Call him and ask him if he'll donut for 1100 and you'll paypal on the spot. He may bite. If not, ask him to throw in the caliper pad pins/bolts at least. Doesn't hurt to ask.
  19. It's actually gone through some changes since then, but overall doesn't look to much different. Thanks
  20. Looks awesome....really makes that pink POP !!
  21. Can't stop looking at that engine bay, among other things. That's a great truck. Unfortunate that the market is so limited, BUT, all it takes is one person and they're gonna have one hell of a deal. Good luck on the sale.
  22. Idea here... one of you guys find me a 2300 and i'll give you my 1900 plus cash and we'll all be a little happier
