Yeah, the BUILT NOT BOUGHT thing is pretty cool IMO also, but i prefer my truck to actually run and function properly. Therefore, i stick to the simple shit. Great build Chase. It's always fun to see what you and some of the other regular 'over the toppers' are doing. Kind of inspires me to do things i shouldn't be doing.

Realizing that you need the upgrade is half the battle. I pull a 21' v-hull and have used a few different setups. If you want to do a great upgrade for around 3K, the vette upgrade is a great way to get it done. If you want to go less than that you can still get a pretty good setup, but doing a search and researching what everyone has done on here is your best bet, then just pull the trigger. Depending on what you're driving, i'd at least try to upgrade the rotor size a little, get a good all around set of pads, add stainless lines and synthetic fluid. That's a pretty good start. If you start asking opinions, you'll get a lot of them. Do some searching on here for a while. I promise you, you'll get more info than you'll know what to do with.

Could stuff a Sig P238 in your pocket and be done with it. I never gave it much thought til I fired one. Pretty smooth, and effective close up with the right ammo. I was pretty accurate at 25 yards and i'm an average shot. I know it's a small caliber but just throwing it out there.

Yeah, my favorite part is how EVERYONE is taking credit for 'preventing' a shutdown. Great job everyone !! Now, it's time to put another bandaid on that gaping hole in America's carotid artery and figure out how to raise everyone's taxes without them noticing.

First off, not complaining, just stating a fact. I rearranged call weekends and family obligations for this work to be done, and never heard another word from him. He had a lot of far more important things going on and i understand that part. But he was lining up at least a few jobs over the midwest. I'm simply saying it would've been nice to hear something from him so i wasn't left wondering. It wasn't until a week ago when i heard he has some issues so i tried to get ahold of him. I'd have been happy to delay or even cancel....however it worked for him. As i stated, i've tried to PM him and i've tried texts....now i see that he hasn't had a phone. Look, i'm not trying to bag on him. I don't know him that well, but have met him and we've talked enough to trust each other with working together on some interior work. Consideration is all i was asking for. But, you're right.....i should've probably just left it to texts or pm's even if he never gets them.

Again, sorry for your loss and fortunately it sounds like you have a woman in your life that is a rock for you to lean on. With that said, I feel like I need to let you know that other people have lives and obligations as well. You were on the hook to do some work for me. Although money was never exchanged and the exact job was not hammered out yet, a date was and we agreed on a general direction of the work to be done. I work a lot of hours and work a lot of call, to include weekends. I rearranged my/my family's schedule for you and the least you could've done was given some type of notice that you wouldn't be able to do it due to family obligations. I was simply left to wonder until I finally said screw it. Just asking for a little consideration given that that's what I've tried to do for you. Sorry to post here, but I've tried pm's and text messages without any luck.

I'm working through some tuning issues with a TVS1900 install, then it's off to an alignment Monday and exhaust work wednesday. I'll post up my z06 upgrade results then. It'll be completely subjective, but it's better than nothing. I'll be at the Nationals in KC Memorial day w/e, as will others with the upgrade i'm sure, if anyone wants to check it out.
