  1. I have an eaton-roush tvs 1900 I'm going to be putting up in the next few months. Depending on your timeframe, I'm needing to find a 2300 before I do it. Figured I'd just buy a complete 2300 setup, swap out the head units and sell the 1900 as a complete as possible package. If you have a little time to work on this, or have any interest in talking, lemme know. Mike

  2. Well, that's a long story. I'm not good at taking the time to list it all in my sig, but someday very soon I'll put it all together and run a short novel in this section. I'm not smart enough to write up a build, but it's certainly worthy of one. I owe some big debts of gratitude to a few of our forum members and it's high time I recognize them for their part in this. Until then, it has a few engine internals in the swapped engine from the previously burned up (fire) SS, tvs 1900, beefed up trans, Mr P fans, ARH/corsa touring, corvette brake upgrade and a few other odds and ends. There's still a big hole in it to throw any future earnings, so hopefully a tvs2300 upgrade is in the near future.
  3. FYI, call ARH and discuss the coating for their headers. They don't recommend it and told me it was unnecessary. In their own words "You really won't gain anything, unless you're going for a certain look or finish".
  4. Under construction. You weren't supposed to post within 15 sec of my post failure

  6. Gonna shoot for this direction sometime late winter/early spring. I'll be watching this. Please keep us updated
  7. Let me tell you from experience, parting it out if there is no other option is not that bad in terms of recovering some money...... BUT, it can be a major pain in the ass. It's time consuming, a lot of work to remove/list/haggle/ship/etc, and overall possible not that pleasant of an experience. I'm not saying DON'T DO IT. I'm just saying, think it over really well. You might be better off looking for other avenues to sell, doing a better job of marketing it, looking at other forms of payment for it like a trade for another vehicle/guns/etc. Just a thought.
  8. I call ! You're just trying to stir the pot. Nobody is that stupid.
  9. Sorry Gary. That's a shitty thing. Bad enough for the loss, but to think of someone with so little regard for others is what really pisses me off. Now days, it's just easier to steal shit than to work for it. Pride is taking a back seat. Now, on to new wheels !
  10. Really good to see some progress and direction you're headed Shaun. This should be fun to watch.
  11. My favorite on the big green egg.... large ribeye cut into about 5 strips. Coat in a coffee, sea salt, pepper, sugar, other spices rub. Sit out on a plate at room temp for a couple of hours. Heat up the egg to about 700 degrees. Toss that shit on for about 3 minutes, flip and cook 3 more minutes. Take it off and let it sit for about 5 min if you can stand the wait.
  12. Pm Sent from just down the road
  13. SOLD This is the AWD front differential/axle setup. If you need one pm me and we'll talk price and shipping options. It was pulled from my burned up SS and was in perfect working order.
  14. Welcome to the family, from Manhattan. Ever in the area, give me a little notice. Always nice to shoot the shit with another SS owner.
  15. Well, good luck with the sale. Seems like people struggle a bit to sell, but i would think yours would sell a quick with what you have to offer. Hope you're staying in the SS family.
  16. WTF....did i miss something a few days ago?
  17. Sorry, did you say something about rolling the bone....
  18. In spite of all the bad luck, it was well worth going. Can't wait till next year. I have a feeling it'll be much bigger. I'll be making a 2-3 day out of it like most of you guys.
  19. I'll second this.... Recently received some drivetrain support from Dan that was much appreciated as a very upcoming future mod. As for Steve, can't say enough. Someday soon i'll get my shit together enough to post a build thread to thank him and showcase everything he's done to help me achieve my SS goals. You guys, and many others on here, are the reason this site is so successful. Thank you !
  20. I have had these lying around for some time. If you can use them, let me know. I'd take $30 shipped. If you can find them cheaper + shipping, let me know where and i'll do at least that. GM PN 88987983 AC DELCO PT1767 2 packages (one connector each)
  21. Gary i have a feeling that a lot of SS's are gonna maintain some below average low-miles for the year at these prices. Or at least until we get used to it.
