  2. For those who are not familiar, this show is held at Daytona International Speedway ( 2 1/2 mile track ) A helluva way to walk off that turkey and stuffing. [attach ent=12489:TurkeyRun07_002.jpg]

  4. pathetic some people just need to be bitch slapped
  5. I wish I had a camera the other day. I stopped behind a ford taurus or something, I had to do a double take, factory low profile spoiler still attached. In the middle of the trunk lid, they bolted this obnoxious wing about 2 feet tall. In the middle of the wing, it looked like a fan housing, I guess to look like a jet engine When the car accellerated, it made noise like a jet spooling up
  6. I found my stock limiter to be about 106ish
  7. NIIICE! Looks good, I'm seriously thinking about doing mine in all silver.....when I finish aquiring the funds that is. Anyone have any opinions on that idea? I've already been informed that lighter colors tend to fade and yellow from exposure to the elements? A clear urethane top coat is supposed to help with that, also my bed is covered most all the time except when haulin stuff.
  8. Welcome, let's see that beast! Where at in TN? I'm from Bristol
  9. same thing happenned here, rear view had no electronic function and a light was on in the dash. i thought the the light was a seatbelt light cause my sensors for seatbelts had previously been faulty. I took it to the dealer, they said they found the airbag fuse blown due to shorted wire under drivers seat. 1/2 mile from the dealer, I heard it pop again and the mirror quit and airbag light came back. This time they said they found a short in the drivers side kick panel. Good luck
  10. The most common place for leaks are the evaporater coil ( inside the indoor air handler ). That price may be reasonable depending on your unit. If you know which coil he quoted you can get your unit model # and serial # and research the part price. His purchase price may be cheaper and then marked up for resale to you and end up more than what a distribiter may quote you. If the coil has any age, generally it's cheaper to replace rather than repair because most likely the repair can create more leaks and end up replacing anyway after the expense of continued repair. Your guy sounds like he may be actually trying to help you out based on the limited info provided. FYI gnerally speaking if you get 15 years out of your system, your lucky, consider the age of the system. BTW I'm no "expert" anyone who claims to be an expert in any field, is full of themselves IMHO
  11. thats kick ass.....wish i had a sunroof =\ if you want ill come over with a sawzall, doesnt look like it would be that hard to do. lol. (mental image) Billy Idol on top of Bam's Lambo

  14. that dumbass stood next to his truck long enough to get soaked before running Seriously though, that looks like my typical luck
  15. Glad to hear you got it resolved I know you probably would have loved to get back at that shady prick, they say revenge is sweet but it also causes wars. .02
  16. I can't express enough how frustrating it is to deal with dealerships, especially when it comes to getting them fix their own mistakes. They definately need to provide restitution for their negligence in your case, good luck with that. If not . I would probably make them buy it back and try your luck at another dealer.
  17. That's a great tip right there. If you can get a local reputable shop to match internet pricing
  18. I was intersted in some wheels for sale on this forum and found this site to research pricing, found the same wheels new for the same price the seller was requesting plus he needed shiping. Might not be the answer to your question, but i agree. the prices seem good.

    Help!

I thought you were gonna ask us a tuning question i guess "zippy" is already taken?
  20. You might be able to find a used tire shop to work a deal with. I traded some stock Nissan wheels w/old tires 14" fro a pair of new chrome 15s and BGF radial TA's, even trade. Put em on my boat trailer to match my truck at the time. I've been looking for a local shop to quote me for powder coating my stockers, it's not easy to find someone to do it, and the quotes I got so far have been $100-$135 a wheel for single/double coat. I've heard guys on here say the price has been on average about $50-$75 a wheel
