  1. I'm glad they got the powertrain squared away.....too bad they look like total ASS!!
  2. Talladega Nights Probably have to go with Gone in 60 seconds
  3. That's what I thought. I was looking at those on Ebay and was wondering what they looked like on our trucks. How do you like them??
  4. What kind of wheels are those 22's in the bottom pic??
  5. I went to the Jet-Hot website and sent them an e-mail. Like Cali said they have to special order them so take the P/N from the top of the thread. Jet Hot
  6. Yep, Usual Showdown!! 2 Undefeated Teams fighting for the Big 10 and a National Championship!! I will be looking forward to it!!
  7. Notre Dame was highly overrated!! Michigan Still Sucks....they just exploited ND turnovers. Muck Fichigan!!! GO BUCKS!!!
  8. Nobody has any advice? I have done more reading and am hearing that you lose low end power if you go with a 3" exhaust. I have also read that this could possibly be fixed with a good tune. I just want to make sure I am doing what is best. I still haven't found the I.D. of the stock cats. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Been in the Army almost 8 years. Will be pinning on SFC early 07. 1 Tour in Iraq and 4 in Afghanistan.
  10. I know it's not a direct bolt on. And I am under the impression the stock exhaust is 2.75" back to the muffler. I was just curious if the cats were also 2.75"? Also didn't know if I should do 3" all the way back or if that is a bad idea? Thanks!
  11. I just ordered a set of pacesetters direct from Jet-Hot. I have searched all over the site and didn't really find an answer/recommendation to what I am looking for. For the moment all I am doing is an Outlaw Intake, Pacesetters, and a custom tune. I will be saving for a supercharger in the future. (How far in the future is still unknown) 1) I keep hearing that the stock cats flow pretty well, but what is the I.D. of the stock cats and how well will they work with the 3" collector of the Pacesetters? Should I keep the stockers, get high flows, or gut the stock cats? I want the appearance of a cat, but don't really care if it is hollow. NC is a computer test state so as long as it passes a visual and doesn't throw any codes I'm good. 2) I am looking to do and X or H Pipe and stay dual all the way back to dual Magnaflow Mufflers and dumping it under the bed. What I.D. of Pipe/Mufflers do you recommend? Any recommendations and info you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again!
  12. I just ordered mine from Jet-Hot too!! Thanks Cali!! They quoted me $499 plus shipping but thanks to Cali and this post the guy at Jet-Hot brought it down to $461 shipped. Having my new truck for 3 months now.....and being deployed the whole time....has been hard. But it is almost time to go home!! So time to start spending some of that deployment money!!
  13. I had a set of the Nitto's on my R/C and was very happy with them. I would recommend them.
  14. Did an Oil Change and a Tire Rotation on my wife's '04 Trailblazer. Once I was done I put it back on her side of the garage and cleaned up. Well needless to say the next day I get a call at work from my hysterical wife that the left front wheel came off the truck!! I guess somehow I forgot to hit that one with the impact!!! Fender, Driver Door, and a Wheel later. Everything was OK. I don't seem to forget to check and double check the lugs anymore. My wife is still convinced I was trying to kill her!!!
  15. That truck is the S#%T!! I had a '04 Black R/C before I got my SSS. And I am in love with that S/C!!
  16. Since the "45" in 305/45/22 is merely the percentage of the width (in mm) of the tire. A 285/45/22 would not have the same section height as a 305/45/22. So lets do the math. 305mm X .45(45%) = 137.25mm Sidewall Height 285mm X .45(45%) = 128.25mm Sidewall Height 305mm X .40(40%) = 122 mm Sidewall height With the 305/40/22 you are only losing 15mm X 2 (for top and bottom sidewall) = 30mm. So you will be losing a total of 3cm of sidewall compared to a 305/45/22 or 1.2cm as compared to say a 285/45/22. Not really that much of a difference to minimize rubbing. I know when I finally get around to putting 22's on my truck I will be going with 305/40/22. Hopefully that clears things up a bit.
  17. You gotta love our Judicial System!! F#@%ing MORONS!!
  18. That's good stuff!! I'm not a big fan of heights either.....I don't much like ladders!! However, I do have about 4 jumps out of an aiplane at 14,000 ft and will be making many more in the near future!! You wanna talk about a rush.....plummeting to Earth at 120+ MPH!!
  19. Congrats on the new truck!!!
  20. I had a rollpan on my '04 RC and really want one on my SS. Out of the blue the other day my wife says to me on Instant Messenger that my truck needs a rollpan. GOD I LOVE HER!! I will more than likely be ordering one when I get home!!!
  21. Sometimes I really wonder why I work so hard to keep my trucks clean! Let me guess...the cardboard flew right over a 1985 Escort before it hit your truck!! You can never escape the MORONS!!!
  22. My Aunt adopted one. It is very friendly and has a great temperment. Just remember they are trained to run. I don't know if you can ever train it to just stick around. If her's gets out it's gone and it's no joy to try and catch.....believe me!! Jay
